Great screen. Fit well, but I cracked the digitizer putting it on. Ive done several.

Changed the iPad screen, but it started glitching after a few hours. Now it crashes repeatedly. Apple Store said its because the iPad doesnt recognize the digitizer so thats it, had to buy a whole new iPad. You get what you pay for. Lesson learned!

Tape didnt even stick

This is my second time purchasing this exact digitizer for my Godsons iPad Mini. The original digitizer/glass had several cracks in it, so I bought this one to replace it. The first one was a perfect replacement and held together quite well, but the digitizer failed after nearly one year. Since there was no damage to the glass or digitizer, its hard to pinpoint why it failed exactly. The second installation was just as painless. However, one glaring issue I had was with the adhesive. No matter what I did, it simply would not hold. Even after removing all the old adhesive, heating up the glass after the installation, and using binder clips to push the glass down onto the frame, the glass would simply lift up at the corners. Since this was for my Godson and Id likely be the one repairing it again if/when it breaks, I simply used superglue to hold it in place. Future me will have to deal with present mes laziness. All in all, the touch functionality is spot on and it works. Not bad for $20 and an hour of my time.

The home button stopped ‘springing’ back into place within one month of use. Touch sensitivity did not seem as good as it should be. The iPad required frequent resetting due to the screen randomly typing (false touches).

This screen worked perfectly and install was very straightforward using a YouTube video. I spread everything out on a white towel, used high-powered cheater glasses, and took my time. the thin metal tool that comes in the kit is especially good at getting under shattered glass fragments. Cant beat the price and the product looks identical to the original glass. Wish the screwdriver was magnetic, but otherwise all went well.

This set is great, and worked perfect. The only thing I will say is that I am a bit disappointed with the lack of instructions. If you buy this, take your time and watch a few videos before jumping in - it would be easy to mess this up! I had to watch the 2 videos on the site several times to figure out what to do next.
