This is not an exact replacement for iPad 3 mini. This replacement only have one IC chip connection and is missing the longer connector for the home button. See attached photo for the home button connector. Therefore the home button doesn’t work. Other than that, the screen works for iPad 3 mini.

Just what was needed, worked as expected

I received the item on time like it was stated. This is not the first time I installed a replacement screen and the screen that I received seems pretty good. It does not come with the adhesive tape but luckily I have some on hand. After installing this I took it home and it was working fine. The tablet fell off a coffee table and the new screen cracked right away. The screen is not really that great.

Installation takes patience and a steady hand but went very well. Product lined up perfectly and included tools provided everything needed but a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the existing adhesive for screen removal. All in all very happy with this product and purchase. It took roughly an hour start to finish and saved a good amount of coin vs taking our iPad Mini to a repair shop for the same fix. Would definitely purchase this item again.

repaired ipad in under 45 minutes. worked like a charm only tool not included was hair dryer.
