Worked perfectly fine.all the tools were perfect . Of course the screen is more fragile than the real apple screen but for the price it’s perfect. We will see in the long run how long it last if anything I’ll buy an other one .

This was an semi-easy kit to use. Everything fit. Found videos on YouTube to help step by step. The kit needs to include double side sticky tape to mount new glass to ipad. It requires you to use old sticky tape that gets ruined when you remove broken glass.

The product worked perfectly for my mini 2. The seller should definitely update the listing as Prokit for mini 1 AND mini 2 because they are the same. I wanted to leave this review mainly to say that if you were to believe some of the reviews you may not want to buy. I have to say IMO that if someone installs a glass screen and only noticed a chip in the glass after they finished installation by removing the protective film then they need a new hobby! There is NO way a thin piece of plastic hides a chip in the glass, its just not possible. I had a guy tell me after buying a note 10 plus from me that the glass was already chipped under a GLASS screen protector (I installed as a courtesy) and I told him the same thing....NOT POSSIBLE!! Trust me if it were that easy everyone would give it a try but its just not! Ive tried every method possible to repair glass on a device and have yet to even closely make it vanish.

This set is great, and worked perfect. The only thing I will say is that I am a bit disappointed with the lack of instructions. If you buy this, take your time and watch a few videos before jumping in - it would be easy to mess this up! I had to watch the 2 videos on the site several times to figure out what to do next.

Had to go on line to get instructions to replace the screen. Took over an hour to figure it out. Instructions need to be included with this product.

Fits perfectly looks brand new just watch instruction video carefully and if using a hair dryer take your time dont rush

The replacement was as nice as the original screen before it shattered on the ipad mini. Unfortunately the adhesive did not hold very well and there was not much indication for the magnets for the smart cover to stay put so I just left them out, no biggie. As for the adhesive I had amazing luck using Permatex Sensor Safe https://www.amazon.com/Permatex-80022-Sensor-Safe-Silicone-Gasket/dp/B0002UEOKK Just a bit around the edges where the glass sits and 24 hours later it had no give. This is a more permanent adherence though so be mindful if you are one to be constantly swapping out the broken display.
