Tape didnt even stick

I installed the digitizer, but did not unplug the battery the first time. The LCD would not work. I was very frustrated so put this project on the shelf for a few days thinking I had broken the LCD cable. Then I read the Note that came with the Digitizer that stated the battery cable must be unplugged for 5 minutes. I tried this, then plugged the battery cable in and pressed the 2 buttons to reset the iPad and the Apple symbol appeared in the middle of the LCD! I was very happy that now it worked! I assembled everything and it works perfectly now.

Fitment was not good. Did not even sit in the frame. Had to use it because I un installed the old one. Not happy with this product. Don’t buy it.

I purchased this item as replacement for customers ipad 2. I ordered on Thursday in the afternoon and paid extra for one day shipping charge. I got it on next day. I installed it without any problem. It installed fine and tested. Everything went well. It had pre-applied glues and everything went well. I would purchase it again.

after couple pf week digitiser become unresponsive

Followed DIY instructions on Youtube, succeeded in replacing my kids severely damaged one; howeverone week later the replacement screen cracked. (minor but still a crack) Good value buy but you get what you pay for. If you can buy a more expensive one and maybe from another manufacturer.
