    Greater than one week

I just received my heating pad and so far I love it! My boyfriend even took it for use and commented I need to get him one ㅤᵕ̈ I do wish it would be a tad bit warmer. But maybe with time?

I have owned many heating pads over the years but this one is by far the best. I love the extra long size and the different levels of heat. It also has a setting to shut off automatically. But what really sets this brand aside is the customer service. It has a 5 year warranty and they stand by it. I have owned two since 2021. When the first one stopped working, after a year and a half, I bought a new one. When the second one stopped working after less than a year, I emailed customer service with my receipts from Amazon and they sent me two new heating pads within a few days. I really only expected one so I was pleasantly surprised! I gifted one to my daughter so she would stop stealing mine! This is the only heating pad I will ever own.

...and I absolutely LOVE it. With a considerable (oh MAN, do I use THAT term lightly!) level of pain after having had a Lumbar Fusion and Laminectomy (L-5/S-1) just over two years ago, it was time for a new heating pad. Id been using a Thermophore 055 (and while there are many, MANY good things to say about that heating pad) this new one was such a great AHHHHHHHHH to come home to! It took me but seconds to whip this bad boy out of the box, throw on the bed and hop right on top. It felt EXACTLY as I had imagined it would and even THEN some! We had just gotten home after a looooong day of leisure, but those of us with spine issues know that even those fun days...especially when they are fully-packed, non-stop...seem to turn to agony pretty quickly. (Thank the LORD for Amazon and their Prime deliveries on Sundays!!! And this time a delivery that was scheduled for Monday actually arrived a day early! How in the WORLD did they know?!) I cranked it up to its highest setting of 6 to get started right away and the warmth started easing up my muscles within minutes. Now that Ive used it several days I found that I love the plush fabric of the cover. Unlike my old Thermophore, its extremely comfortable. And of course, not feeling any wires underneath your body is also a good thing, lol! The controls are large enough to see and very easy to use with a red light on/off indicator. Unlike many other folks who compare the size of the PureRelief to their old pads, this is just a bit smaller than the pad Im used to using. As many others have mentioned, the one downside might be the temp. Thus far for me its definitely been hot enough but to be honest, Ive always warmed it up at 6 (the highest heat setting) and I dont remember ever once feeling the need to lower it. So Im going to question if whether the PureRelief not getting hotter could potentially be a problem in the future. So far my PureRelief is more than perfect, so Im happy to give it a 5-Star rating, but heres the thing. Weve had some pretty fair weather around these parts and I havent put on any warmer clothes yet. Thats leads me to wonder if when I put on layers of thermal, fleece and/or heavier clothing if the heating element will actually BE enough to get through and for me to still experience the pads therapeutic benefits. That remains to be seen, but Im very excited and I have the HIGHEST expectations that the layers of clothing will pose no problem! Before I close I wanted to mention that unlike many of you reviewers, I DO plan to hang onto my old heating pad, my ancient workhorse the Thermophore #055. Its a different kind of heating pad which does have its merits and has served me well. I inherited it from my father-in-law way who passed away in 1998 and Ive been using it exclusively ever since. This one DOES get killer hot (for all of you out there who want a hot, hot, HOT pad!) however for safety purposes you actually need to squeeze the trigger and manually hold it down in order to generate the heat. As long as you hold the lever, the heat just keeps on coming and itll get up to 176 degrees (so Im told). The downside with this one is its pretty much either feast or famine with no constant. Theres no control on it so theres never a consistent temperature at all. Its usually either too hot (while youre holding the lever til you can absolutely stand it no more!), or, its cooling down when you let the button go. Still, theres much to be said. It gets blastin hot and itll attack those muscles for you, drawing moisture right out of the air. (You can get them here on Amazon and I see where they seem to have different models as well. They are made by Battle Creek.) They are a perfect adjunct to...but NOT replacement for...the PureRelief! :) 2/20/18 UPDATE: My PureRelief is still going strong, helping me with back pain relief whenever I need it. Just wanted to add that this wonderful heating pad gets PLENTY hot and then some. Ive been cranking it all the way to 6 and then finding I need to lower it to be comfortable, so getting and keeping it warm enough in the winter is most definitely not a problem! So happy with it! :-)

I absolutely love this product! I use it multiple times a week if not everyday for back pain. The material and feel of the product is so comfortable and the 6 settings are perfect! I was receiving an error and the product stopped working, but I remembered that there is a 5 year warranty from the company so I contacted them. I got to talk with a representative right away who immediately helped me with my problem and is sending me a replacement item. Quick and easy process! Highly recommend!

Great for neck and back surgeries. Keeps hot and warm. Auto shut off after 2 hours or can stay on. Last a long time. Mine was used daily and lasted over a year. Update: my pad unexpectedly went bad. I contacted the company, within 1 day they are sending me a free replacement and I dont even have to ship back the defective product. Awesome customer service.

I have been utilizing the heating pad for around a month now and like the product overall. It heats up quickly and appreciate the auto-off feature. Best of all I dropped coffee on the heating pad today and was able to put it in the washing machine once disconnected from the electrical cord. After air drying the pad it is working great. All around this is a great heating pad especially with the (6) temperature points to deliver the correct amount of heat.

As someone who struggles with chronic pain I’ve used heating pads for years. If I’m sitting, I have my heating pad. I decided to try this brand (purchased 9 months ago) and it has been the BEST one as far as quality of materials and enough heat. I joke that it’s my emotional support heating pad. It stopped working yesterday (flashing “F”) & I really didn’t want to spend $39 again so I ordered a cheaper $17 one here on Amazon. It came today and it’s awful. Not worth it. So I went to order another one of these when I realized they actually had a warranty from the company. Since I had mine 9 months it was within the timeframe. I reached out to the company and they sent me very quick troubleshooting instructions and stated if that didn’t work then to reply with my address and they would send out a replacement immediately. No further questions or action needed. The troubleshooting took literally 1 minute but didn’t work, so I replied with my address and she said I’d receive my replacement within 2-3 days. So fast! I’d also like to mention the cord is really long(compared to other brands I’ve tried) so I can sit anywhere on my couch and it reaches without finding a closer outlet. I like that it has a timer OR you can choose for it to always stay on. I’m glad I went with this brand and loved that they stand behind their products enough to offer a warranty. They have an XXL size I’d also like to try out, but the XL is plenty big (and bigger than other regular size ones as well).

I absolutely love this heat pad! The variety of heat options is fantastic, allowing me to customize the warmth according to my preference. The soft fabric feels incredibly cozy and gentle against my skin. Another great feature is how quickly it heats up, providing instant relief. I appreciate the option to set it for auto shut-off, ensuring safety and peace of mind, but I also love that I can keep it on when needed. Its a versatile and reliable heat pad that has become an essential part of my self-care routine.

I’m not only doing this for the free therapy pack but the product is actually a upstanding heating pad and it came with clear instructions especially on the washing part. I had recently bought another heating pad that would not get hot enough but this one does the trick thank you again.

I used this heating pad day in and day out for two years. It heated up super quickly, and I found that even the first two settings provided great heat! Sadly, it started displaying an F where the numbers should have appeared. I contacted the company, and because they have a 5-yesr warranty, I am able to get it replaced and shipped to me at no cost. The replacement process was super easy too! Because of how quickly it heated up, the temperatures being impressive, and how efficient it was to activate the warranty, I give it 4 stars. I would totally buy it again.
