> 24 hourI replaced my Logitech G502 with this mouse after it died on me, and I have no regrets. This is an excellent mouse. It’s comfortable, sleek design, lights are nice and bright (but you can change the brightness if it’s too much), and the cord is braided which is a nice feature of wired Razer products. It feels just like the G502, maybe even better. The side DPI change button (for sniper aiming in FPS games) is such a nice feature. You can also change the resistance of the scroll button if you want it more rigid or smooth gliding. The thumb rest feels comfortable and not in an awkward spot. Although, I do have small hands so I can’t say the same for everyone. My only complaint is that when I received the item, the bottom of the box was torn and bent, which made me worry a bit. Though when I got the mouse out of the box, there were no visible signs of breakage or scratches or anything missing. The mouse is still working fine. Overall, I would definitely recommend this mouse to anyone who might’ve had the Logitech G502 and are looking for a replacement or just simply in the market for a nice and comfortable mouse for gaming or just simple computer work. For those who are worried about the Razer Synapse 3 which comes with this mouse, I haven’t had any problems with it crashing. I believe it is still in beta, so I will update this review if I run into any problems regarding the software.

> 24 hourThe mouse feels nice, buttons are easy to press. You have to install synapse in order to customize things like lighting, dpi, mapping the buttons. When you turn off pc the mouse lights stays on and alternate between colors even if you set it to static. I read that only way to change that is to go into bios and set it to turn off ports power when pc is off. The only issue I have is that the rubber thump grip comes off. Ive see some reviews posting about this and hoped it was just a defect but seems like the issue still exist today. Update: I contacted razer within the warranty period and they replaced it free of charge. Been using the new one for over 5 months and never had the issue on the new mouse. Seems like the adhesive was defective on the old one. Overall I love the mouse.

> 24 hourThe software allows you to make small changes in DPI and to adjust all buttons to anything you want them to do. You can also adjust the colors to do some fun effects when you click or move. I would recommend this to anyone who likes gaming. Use the side mouse buttons to free up your fingers on the left hand. I am now leaning left and right with the mouse thumb in PubG and its really helping me move and adjust faster.

> 24 hourI play mostly first-person shooters and World of Tanks, which I guess would be classified as a shooter, and the mouse performs really well. It feels comfortable to use and is slightly on the smaller side, which I like. So to put things into perspective, I wear and buy large gloves, ergo have large hands, and am able to use a palm grip with the mouse. The only downside of the mouse is that they decided to use rubber on the sides. After a while, the rubber becomes slightly tacky to touch, and will never have the new mouse feeling after you clean it.

> 24 hourI love this mouse. It fits in my hand perfectly, its nice and fat yet lightweight. The Lights on it are good, its extremely responsive. The DPI clutch is very useful, but its fun. The clicks feel good, and the two side buttons feel great. I like to use the wheel as an input, so I have the resistance on it cranked WAY up, making the scroll wheel feel like, clicky and precise input. I’d recommend getting a really nice solid mousepad, like the Razer firefly, because they make this mouse glide perfectly.

> 24 hourI bought this for 34.99 on Black Friday, so the review will be based on this price point. The ergonomics are very comfortable for someone with a medium-sized hand and a palm/claw grip. The interchangeable sniper triggers (lowers the DPS while trigger is depressed) are very nice quality and have a satisfying tactile feel. Multiple lengths for different hand sizes are included. Customization through Razer Synapse is relatively straightforward and expansive as far as mouse customization goes. Especially at this price point, I couldnt possibly give it less than 5 stars. Build quality is great, awesome mouse wheel resistance adjustment on the bottom of mouse, and just a super smooth experience.

> 24 hourGreat mouse! My old Mamba TE died on me so I decided to try something new, and Im glad I did! This mouse is super comfortable to use and nice and small for my smaller hands. Id not recommend this for people with huge hands unless you use claw grip though. The buttons are very responsive and very nice, and I love the sensitivity adjustment on the scroll wheel. I wish it had tilt-clicks on the scroll wheel, but thats not a huge deal. The RGB is really nice. I wish it had it in some other places though because it gets mostly covered up by your hand. Again, not a huge concern. The thumb rest is very comfortable and the rubberized grip is really nice. The two extra buttons are very nice and easy to access, and the thumb paddle is great for push-to-talk or any other useful on the fly button you may want to use. Overall, a great purchase!

> 24 hourI had a Razer Deathadder mouse before that I bought from a retail store (Target) and after around a year of use the glue that attaches the thumb pads on the sides of the mouse began to turn into a non-sticky substance. This meant that the pads would freely slide around the thumb pad frame which is definitely not good for gaming. I play a lot of CSGO, R6S, Hunt: Showdown, Rust, and a couple others which requires a smooth, stable mouse that had at least two side buttons. On the Deathadder the buttons were a little shorter in height relative to the side of the mouse, and they were also wider. I definitely prefer the Basilisks side buttons in comparison because they are easier to press as well as they give a lot more feedback to your fingers. The side groove is also another feature that I truly needed. My thumb on the Deathadder would be drug across my pad with each mouse movement which works but with my thumb resting on the rubber pad on the groove my aiming felt a lot more stable. Speaking of the rubber pads, they are SO much nicer than the Deathadders. The grooves in them are so much better than the spotted pads on the Deathadder. Usually if I got even a slight amount of bodily oil on the Deathadder pads, they became a slip and slide. However I havent had a single problem with the grips on the Basilisk. As always I have to compliment the Razer software that becomes available with the products as they make it easy to make profiles and presets to get that sweet range of dpi you need. The only problem I have with the software has to be Razer Cortex (this is unrelated to the product by the way) and its game booster program. I never saw any increase in performance (although it could easily have been because of a bottleneck in my system that Cortex cant help with) and it will not work with any games that are running off an SSD, it will actually slow them down. Easily my best mouse Ive had so far though.

> 24 hourIve had this mouse for roughly 5 years now. Out of all the options that Ive tried this one has never been beaten in reliability. It fits large hands well, and has enough weight to be able to feel the quality of the components. Overall a great product! Although its wireless newer counter parts, the Basilisk X, Ultimate, and Hyperspeed variants kinda sucked in comparison.
