> 24 hourI had to abandon Razer mice for a bit as the arthritis i got from limes disease while in the army started to get worse. I couldnt use my beloved Mamba anymore. I switched to the Logitech G602 and was in love with almost everything about it. But as soon as i saw the basilisk i was very happy. It has a very similar shape and feel to the G602 (the G903 was too skinny and long for me). But with Razers FAR superior software, aesthetic and switches. Happy to have a 100% razer desktop again and waiting on them to copy Stinkys foot pad to make ALL my peripherals Razer.

> 24 hourVery comfortable and grippy. The dpi clutch is definitely different but I really like it and it helps a lot in FPS games where hitting all your shots is important. I don’t find myself using the dpi clutch super often but it’s really nice to have on certain games. The only thing that I don’t like about the mouse is the two thumb buttons on the interior side. I feel they’re a bit small but they still work really well. Overall this is a great mouse for those who play FPS games, which is who this mouse is tailored to.

> 24 hourThe software allows you to make small changes in DPI and to adjust all buttons to anything you want them to do. You can also adjust the colors to do some fun effects when you click or move. I would recommend this to anyone who likes gaming. Use the side mouse buttons to free up your fingers on the left hand. I am now leaning left and right with the mouse thumb in PubG and its really helping me move and adjust faster.

> 24 hourSo for starters, I am not much of a PC gamer. I bought this mouse for the way it looks and the RGB functionality. Also, I really like the button placement. It feels great in my hand. No unnecessary buttons on the side that I accidentally click. I like the cord it comes with (braided but not too thick). The Razer Synapse/Chroma software is not too difficult to use but still confusing (I paired it with my Phillips HUE bridge but had difficulty getting the settings just right. One of my Hue bulbs wouldnt light up at times but Im not sure if it was the softwares fault or mine for not knowing how to use it). I also like the idea of the DPI clutch even though I doubt I will ever use it much. The only problem that really annoys me is that you cannot save Lighting Profiles/Settings to the Mouses internal memory. So I set up the color I wanted and I thought this is the perfect mouse! but shortly after I power cycled my computer it started to do the Rainbow mode on the mouse even though I set it to a static color and even saved the profile to the mouses internal memory. So basically if the Razer software isnt running the mouse is not going to be displaying the RGB pattern you chose. So when I boot up my computer it is stuck in rainbow mode till the software loads. This really annoys me. I thought it was implied that the hardware profiles would store this info so if I migrated my mouse to another system or didnt have the Razer software running the RGBs would behave like I wanted them to. Pros -Beautiful design -Button placement -Nice RGB -Adjustable scroll wheel resistance -Comfortable Cons -Color profiles do not work unless Razer software is running.

> 24 hourI went from the Razer Mamba which was a gift. It was great for awhile but finally died (pretty sure I raged and slapped my mouse to the mousepad one too many times). I tried the Death Adder which was fine but I found to be too big for my hand. The Basilisk has a nice inset and the buttons are further back and just fit me better. I havent gone through trying to create macros with any of them yet, but maybe with the extra button on the side. We will see. If you are looking for something slightly smaller than the Death Adder I think you will like this.

> 24 hourGreat mouse! My old Mamba TE died on me so I decided to try something new, and Im glad I did! This mouse is super comfortable to use and nice and small for my smaller hands. Id not recommend this for people with huge hands unless you use claw grip though. The buttons are very responsive and very nice, and I love the sensitivity adjustment on the scroll wheel. I wish it had tilt-clicks on the scroll wheel, but thats not a huge deal. The RGB is really nice. I wish it had it in some other places though because it gets mostly covered up by your hand. Again, not a huge concern. The thumb rest is very comfortable and the rubberized grip is really nice. The two extra buttons are very nice and easy to access, and the thumb paddle is great for push-to-talk or any other useful on the fly button you may want to use. Overall, a great purchase!

> 24 hourI purchased this Razer Basilisk gaming mouse last April. Works great! Nine months later, the wheel button became insensitive to clicks when zooming in-and-out. I got hold of Razer warranty support. After a few email exchanges, I was instructed to ship the mouse to them. After receiving it, they shipped me a new replacement. Thank you.

> 24 hourI bought this mouse after my Razer Deathadder started having the dreaded double-click issue that Razer is famous for (look this up on google if you do not know what it is because it will be the biggest factor for you in buying this mouse). After owning this mouse for over 6 months, the Basilisk is also now having the double-click issue. It will randomly double click instead of single click when using it, which is incredibly frustrating for anything you are doing. I am very disappointed since this is an important factor in a mouse. The product looks great and the lights are a great feature, but if the mouse cannot accomplish its basic needs for mouse clicking, we have a giant problem.

> 24 hourEvery morning I wake up to soft sounds from my computer fans just to see how shes working. This guy is super quiet for a mouse and can keep up with my gaming easily. He sits right next to my computer as advertised. Sometimes the mouse misbehaves because it was bought used; I assumed this as I payed much less. When this happens I get a little upset and throw the mouse. My mom later comes in and complains about the fit I had just released. I assure you and her that there hasnt been any issues with the mouse after throwing it against the wall a few times. The mouse now keeps its position right next to my computer. Since the throwing, It hasnt even made a peep. It was fun while it lasted though right? Once it starts to smell, you should throw it out. Mice carry disease. Overall good mouse.
