> 3 dayI read several reviews and almost did not purchase this keyboard. I own an original Razer Black Widow Keyboard. It only lit up in one color then. It is a full mechanical keyboard. So, I makes me wonder if people who reviewed this, actually owned a mechanical keyboard. Because if they did, they would notice this is quieter than a full on mechanical keyboard, way quieter. No, it is not as quiet as a membrane keyboard. I would say it cuts the sound down by half. I just plug this keyboard in and my wife is already happy with it. You can feel both the mechanical and the membrane parts of the keyboard. At least I do. I type a lot and game a lot. It feels like a good marriage of the two. My wife will be really pleased when I am gaming in the late hours and I am not waking her up with the clicks, clicks, clicks....the whole time. Loving the colors and being able to customize it.....oh yeah.....loving even more. I have always wanted to work for this company, but I do not live anywhere near them. I remember when my company sold off their gaming line and Razer picked up one of the gaming pads. I wanted to work for a company building hardware for gamers, had so many ideas. My company decided to close down R&D and I am working elsewhere. It is good to dream and I still enjoy Razers products. I have a Razer Naga Hex next to this wonderful keyboard :)

> 3 dayI didn’t buy this to game, though I do game, I got it to liven up my desk at work. Not gonna lie, as a gamer I feel like I have to give myself incentive to be excited to do my work, so the light settings help trick me into thinking I’m doing something more interesting and I feel more upbeat about it. The wrist pad feels so nice and I love that it’s magnetic in case I ever want to remove it. Not sure how long the material on the pad will hold up, but after a couple of weeks it seems totally unchanged. I like the particular sound of the keys on this as well as the response. The lights are relatively bright but they’re meant for a low light room, not my harshly lit office, but it’s still good light. I have fun coming up with patterns but the presets themselves are great. Only negative is the finish on the keyboard, it’s matte and a little textured so it picks up lotion off my hands immediately and makes it look like I have oil spots on the keys, space bar especially. After a while it goes away or I wipe it off, so not a big complaint, just something. Overall I’m very pleased, and sure I get lots of compliments from coworkers. After using it for work I could see myself getting a newer version of it for gaming, especially if it goes on sale.

Greater than one weeki loved the design and over all quality but the clicking sounds it makes when you type a key is kind of annoying but mostly you get used to it and now i kind of like the clicky sound but at first you will probably think its to loud also i like how the ramp up to the keyboard is magnetic instead of the usual attaching ones that break easily

No
Greater than one weekI didn’t think it would be as bad as some of the reviews said it was but it definitely requires a lot of pressure to press the keys. It’s literally just like pressing buttons lol uncomfortable and awkward and for what I play I need to have quick key inputs wish I could detach my laptop screen from its keyboard because I like the fluidity of the keys. My fault for cheaping out I guess. It’s more like an office keyboard than a gaming one

14-06-2025After purchasing this keyboard, I have no idea why people would any more money on a keyboard when this one works so well! I got it mostly for the rgb but the sound of the keyboard is really nice. Sure it gets annoying after a while but its actually pretty quiet even with all the clacky sounds (the sounds are rly nice, dont let my bad description stop you). My mic (a sennheisher headset) barely picks up the keyboard sounds. I did a mic test and it more so sounds very faint as if it was all the way in the background. The program with this is easy to install if you never had a razor product before. The brightness keys on the keyboard will change the brightness of the keyboard, not your monitor but you can easily change that. The mat is magnetic and easy to remove when you dont want it. It feels really comfortable on my wrist (and im using it right now as I type this review)! I usually dont write reviews as its a lot of work but if Im extremely happy or upset about the product, I definitely will write it!

> 3 dayIve only had this keyboard for a few hours, but its wonderful to use. Im a longtime membrane-keyboard user, and despite using a mechanical keyboard for several weeks after my previous one broke, I just couldnt get into loving one. For me, keys on a mechanical keyboard feel too stiff and difficult to press, even with the high-quality Corsair I was using. It fatigued my hands and fingers, and this is a no-go when you make your living off of typing. This keyboard is an excellent middle ground between a membrane keyboard and a mechanical one. I personally would say its closer to a membrane keyboard than a mechanical one, but I honestly like that about it. The keys are much easier to press than a mechanical keyboard, and they make a quiet, satisfying clicking noise, but still feel closer to membrane than mechanical. When I bought this keyboard, it was on sale for $60, and I may not have bought it if it wasnt on sale. Its clearly a budget keyboard with a plastic housing and keys (albeit very well-made), and Im still not sold on whether its worth the full price of $100. However, as its a Razer, you do pay the price a little bit for the premium brand name. I took one star away from its ergonomics because the wrist rest is a bit high compared to the Corsair I was using, but its softness mostly makes up for that. I have not yet used it for gaming, but I anticipate it being excellent for that, too. If youre a Razer fan that isnt quite willing to jump on the mechanical train yet, I would highly recommend this keyboard.

> 3 dayIts never given me an ounce of trouble. I was able to increase from 118 to 124 wpm on it. The key placement is similar to a Dell. Ive always liked Dell keyboards for their layout, and the overall key placement feels familiar. I chose to give this 4 stars because the keys I use most often (after about three years now) are not as clicky as the ones I never touch. They almost feel like theyre broken in, but not in a bad way. I just worry this is a sign the keyboard wont last more than a few more years. A second issue I have noticed is the lack of comfort a left handed player. If you are hoping to use the arrow keys, period and comma to move, itll be a big stretch for your hand. I havent encountered significant issues, although I do not typically game for more than an hour or two at a time. Id imagine someone who plays more may get a sore hand after a while, though. Please note that while the light integration works well and as advertised, its not entirely impressive, nor is it noticeable while engaged in a game. Overall, its a quality keyboard that has increased my typing speed. It hasnt given me problems. Not entirely recommended if you use arrow keys, space and comma to move around in shooters. Have fun!
