> 3 dayI had been experiencing issues with previous keyboards. It was a combination of key height being a bit high, along with inaccuracies when I was typing. Of course, many of the culprits were membrane keyboards. Naturally I was looking at mechanical keyboards by Corsair and others along with Razer. I fell in love with the Razer Mamba mouse and knew their products were top tier. I realized that for the $60 price point, Razer packs one heck of a punch. After watching numerous video reviews online, most of who were actually bashing the whole membrane/tactile combination, for whatever reason I still had a hunch that Razer wouldnt just put a hybrid mechanical product on the market without it being pretty well r&dd and taken to the next level in comparison to other attempts. At the risk of it being a waste and the hybrid mechanical rumors being true and ending up needing to go into the tier of true mechanical keyboards, I gave this keyboard a shot. I can wholeheartedly say my hunch was dead on. In a word: Smooth. This thing types butter smooth and accurate. The clicks are actually pleasant to the ear, my words per minute got a boost and Im more accurate as well. I could not be more happy. The RGB is ridiculously good looking in person, and while I wish there were a more firm surface for the wrist rest(read: a higher quality foam or a plastic, either one), it is quite comfortable and unlike some reviews claim, it does not get hot under my wrists at all. Dont pass on this keyboard, because for under $100, this thing slays the competition, even costing a bit more, IMO. By far my favorite thing about this keyboard is how Razer seemed to perfectly balance making a membrane keyboard that is hyper accurate, while giving it the click many of us like in high end mechanical keyboards while making that click even more pleasant than what we are used to, while getting the key height and travel distance, well, perfect. I dont think the combination of these features is any accident. They seem to shake hands with each other quite nicely to put it lightly . All in all, if youre wondering if you need to spend an exorbitant amount of money on a real mechanical keyboard, I can honestly say, I dont think you do. Give the Ornata a shot and I think youll be pleasantly surprised.

> 3 dayI cannot rate this because I never used it. When I discovered that the wrist pad could not be attached I had to return it because of my particular setup (inside a desk drawer) requires the support. It would have been helpful had they mentioned this or shown a slight gap in the picture between pad and keyboard.

Greater than one weekOrnata V3 X: I didnt realize I ordered this keyboard used. It was less than 10% off. It appeared Like New for a few weeks until paint started chipping off the WASD keys. I would have spent the $5 for brand new. Love the keyboard though. I much prefer it to the original V3 because its quiet.

> 3 dayThe keys themselves are really high off the actual board itself, all in all it’s a really nice keyboard, pretty cheap too, and no, the additional wrist support does not actually clip onto the board, it just kinda hangs out wherever you put it, not that it’s a big deal. The wrist support add-on does not move wherever you need it which is nice since I like to move around my desk a lot

> 3 dayThere are two major problems with this keyboard. 1. it is not low-profile. Its actually quite high off the desk. 2. It is lighting up and changing color constantly. There are no buttons available to turn this off and it is very annoying. Sorry, but I shouldnt have to install extra software to do this.

Greater than one weekI really like the design of this keyboard and I appreciate how it comes with a pad for your wrists to rest on which connects to the keyboard itself magnetically. The multicolored lights are also stylish and the keys feel great. That said, the space bar has been sticking mechanically when I push it down too far to the left, and the right shift key does the same. Maybe over time the problem will go away and those keys will work fine, but I cant count on it.

> 3 dayIt is a loud, precise click that might be for some, but it can get annoying for people that type a lot. Ive only had the keyboard for a month now, but sometimes it bothers me to hear so much clicking when Im typing at night and just trying to get some work done

> 3 dayAwesome. Love the mid-height keys and the way each key-press sounds. Imbues confidence, without sounding too much like cheap plastic as other mech keyboards do. Ive been a Logitech fan through and through, but I needed a work keyboard that checks all the boxes above. Hard to go back to non-mech when youre so used to the reliability of buttons designed with precision and reliability in mind. Plus, one thats much easier to clean compared to the typical scissor switch keyboard! (Oh, god...) Anyway, summary: 1. Very solid keys. Easy to remove and clean in solution 2. Solid construction. Chassis itself is sturdy without looking too foo-foo for a place of work. 3. Key presses sound like automotive dip switches (if youre familiar with what that sounds like). Put it this way - you dont hear the keys, you hear the switch ;) Not cheapo Microsoft-sounding plastic keyboard at all. Totally classy, and would probably make people look over cubes and say, what on Earth are you typing on? 4. Customizations on backlight color schemes make it very adaptible to any environment. Again, if using in a workplace, you dont want to call attention to yourself. Or worse, give people a reason to oogle over your personal stuff after youre out the door. 5. The wrist pad is a very nice touch. Feels like premium over-ear monitor (headphone) leather. Its pliant, light, but doesnt tear as easily. 6. Did I say, its fantastically easy to clean??! Final note - that cult callout in the headline, thats a play on the welcome card thats in the packaging. Seems Razer really puts a lot of care and detail into their products and it shows. Packaging itself feels premium, and the instruction card - something that used to be common but now rare - its thick, and in propa EngRish! Kidding aside, spending this moderate price for a gaming keyboard definitely made me feel like I was buying quality. Like buying Ultimate Ears instead of Logitech. (Yes, thats an obvious pun, but not a jab. Still much love for Logi.)
