I initially picked one of these up as a spare/backup. Ive gone through other keyboards that were much more expensive and this one has lasted much longer than the big name ones I had before. While fancy and fully programmable lighting is neat, I would rather have a keyboard that works consistently day in and out and does not start having dead keys in under a year. This one delivers at 1/3 the price.

This keyboard is amazing! That is basically all I can say about it. I have had it for a few days, (will update if needed) and I already love it! Typing on it is so comfortible and feels like pillows on your fingers. The actuation force is perfect in my opinion and the clicky clacky sound is so satisfying (especially coming from a quiet membrane keyboard). I didnt really use the number pad at all so this tenkeyless keyboard is really nice for saving space. I got the fully RGB edition for $59.99, and it was definitely worth it! Right when I picked up the box I knew it is very good quality because of the weight. I took it out of the box and it felt really nice to the touch, and seems like it should be atleast $100. It also looks amazing with the RGB leds with all of the awesome different functions and colors. I was just using a membrane keyboard and have never had a mechanical keyboard before, nor have I even felt one. Already, I can tell I am in love with mechanical keyboards, I am typing this review with the keyboard right now and I dont want to stop typing because it feels sooo good! If you are looking for a fairly cheap mechanical keyboard, go with this one! It is definitely worth every penny, plus some. I would recommend if you like having different colored backlighting on your keyboard and have $60 to spend, then go with the RGB edition. I hit FN + end twice and customized the leds to the Seahawks colors. Go hawks! I did free shipping because I wasnt in a rush to get it (even though I wanted it as soon as possible) and it came in just about 7 days/1 week. Im sorry for the length of this review (if you are even reading this anymore please click the helpful button below) and I guess im gonna have to stop typing on this keyboard for now:( Anyway, I very highly recommend this keyboard! Have a good day. *UPDATE* I wanted to add that I figured out how to turn on the leds when the computer is shut down. All you have to do is either hold the FN button until it turns on or press FN + END or whatever so it will turn on. So now whenever I turn my pc off I Turn the leds on for something to look at. You can also change all the leds just like when the pc is on and even do the FN + END/5 and customize the leds. I just wanted to update the review so if anyone wanted to know if you could do that, well now you know. Also, the keyboard is holding up really good and I am still super happy with my purchase.

I love this keyboard. I have it set to solid purple and my mouse matching it. It has many, many options. It is kinda fun to play with the light options although I leave it set to a solid color when I am using it. It is loud, but that turned out to be a good thing. You can hear when a key is pressed hard enough to produce a letter and you dont have to watch your screen for visual confirmation of that. This allows you to watch keyboard as you type if needed. This will lead to fewer mistakes and missed keys or double keys. My daughter said it was loud, but her typing was great on it. My daughter tried my keyboard and is getting one just like mine. I ordered a different model for my husband. He needed programmable macros and this one does not have 10 key or programmable macros. He does use 10 key. This seems to be a good company based on my past experience with their other products. This keyboard appears to be better made than any keyboard I have owned. It takes up less space and I never use the 10 key on keyboards. I needed a smaller keyboard because I have a Midi and a pen tablet taking up real-estate on my desk. I am able to game longer without having to rest my hands. I had no problem learning to setup the lights like I wanted. There are way more options than I expected. Im really happy I got the RGB model. The included manual mentioned software and a site but I learned this model is plug and play and doesnt need an app to use. There was different site for the products on Amazon and it listed as plug and play 100%. If you loose the manual, its on site with instructions on changing and setting up the keyboard with key commands. The different model I got my husband had a driver there and I was able to verify that before I ordered his model. We have all been using the Perdition Mouse M901 for a while. We loved the mice and they have lasted. My daughters is the very first model and its its still great and she games all the time. Also its nice that my keyboard and mouse kinda match and look good together. My desk looks so much better with these on it.

Holy Crap this thing is sic, I have a $150 Corsair Silent MX for the rig but I picked this up for the laptop and Im thoroughly impressed and surprised. This thing is heavy, like it doesnt look like it would weight that much at all. Its VERY sturdy. Its got Blue switches so it is LOUD. I wouldnt use it while broadcasting or making vids but for my on the go gaming pc this thing is fantastic. If you dont have a mechanical keyboard for whatever reason.. just stop reading this and click buy now. You will NOT be disappointed. 1 Con to point out is (At least at the time I tried) The driver link on the website is just dead. No macro support that I know of, if its in the software I wouldnt know because the SOFTWARE LINK IS BROKEN. Anyway, it doesnt really matter. It is plug and play and all the RGB settings are done with the added Function key. So I dont really care about the macro support but if this was my only keyboard I may. My laptop has a built in steel series so I just use that keyboard when macros are needed. If you just type, this is great. Just be careful buying it for a place where there are alot of people working or being nearby cause like I said, it is LOUD. Im gonna give it a 5 out of 5 cause I dont care about the software and at least you can access the RGB stuff with keys anyway. Buy this keyboard! For like 40 or 50 bucks or whatever...its a STEAL!!!!!!!!!!

If youre on a tight budget, this keyboard will definitely suit your needs. Im not exactly sure what the switches are (I believe they are a cherry mx blue clone, contrary to what the specs say), but they are clicky, responsive, and satisfying to use. They are loud enough for people in the room to notice it but not outside the room. The RGB is amazing, and I say that as someone who never cared for RGB. It has many different RGB modes so that everyone is satisfied, and its very bright. It also comes with fold-able legs which is nice. Some cons: typing hard can result in a metal echo/reverb that can be annoying depending on who you are (I find it very easy to tune out, especially since this only happens with hard typing). It doesnt come with any cable management features as some high end keyboards do but that is to be expected. There is also no wrist wrest so be weary of how you place this on your desk as to avoid carpal tunnel, etc. All in all, its a great keyboard, and I only give it 4 stars because Im very critical of my purchases. Any standard user/gamer would give 5 stars.

This keyboard is phenomenal. The switches are very responsive and I am very happy with this purchase. The main thing I like about this keyboard is all the RGB configuration and light modes. There is 18 different modes, for ones that arent rainbow you can change the color of them. I also love how you can make specific keys one of 9 different colors, but sadly white isnt included. The RGBs are very bright and the key switches are very nice and since they are blues very loud, but clicky keys are my thing. DISCLAIMER, the description of this product says Cherry MX blue switches, however it is a clone key switch that is very similar to cherry blues, so that is why this keyboard is $90. The switches are very nice. I would recommend this to people who are looking to buy a mechanical keyboard but arent willing to dump their life savings on one. In my opinion the pros wayyyy over weigh the cons, but if youre looking for a white backlit keyboard for your setup then watch out for that.

Great keyboard for the price. The only thing I dont like is that I move it around a lot between the table and the couch and given theres no bezel around the outside its nearly impossible to pick up one handed which is annoying. Outside of that I think they are a great value.

Ive never owned a mechanical keyboard before, so I decided to branch out and bought both this keyboard and a different Redragon keyboard with red switches. I like both keyboards for different reasons, and would definitely recommend this brand to someone looking to get a good first keyboard. The Good: • It feels sturdy without being heavy at all. • The keys are of good quality and are overall nice and smooth. • Typing on it feels like typing on an old typewriter, its VERY fun to experience for the first time. • The RGB is awesome. Its controlled directly through the keyboard, you can set the brightness, and theres a TON of different effects to choose from (many of which include both rainbow and single-color options). My favorites are the soft rainbow fade one (FN+END one time), and the one that lights up every key you press for a short while for more subtle backlighting (press FN+HOME two times). • I love the white color, it looks better than the black with the RGB lighting and the keys are really easy to read with the backlight turned off. • The hotswappable keys are an incredibly neat feature and mean that one switch breaking isnt the end of your keyboard and that you could potentially mod this keyboard in the future if you wanted. The Not-So-Good: • People werent kidding when they said blue switches are LOUD. Im pretty sure that the metal backplate, while very durable feeling, is also causing the keys to make a slight ringing sound when pressed. This makes a loud keyboard even louder. I love the feeling of the keys, so if youre looking for a quieter but similar experience, Id look for a keyboard from Redragon with brown switches instead. Ive generally heard that brown switches provide the same tactile feedback while being quieter. • On both keyboards I bought, the keys that have non-backlit symbols added to them have a rough texture. It makes me worried that they might rub off with use. Personal Preferences: • I really wish Redragon had a white Tenkeyless keyboard with red switches because Im finding that a full keyboard is a bit long for my personal preferences and that the blue switches are too annoying to for others to listen to. If they had this keyboard (the K552W-RGB) with red switches instead of blue, Id buy it immediately. • Blue switches are such a joy to type on. Every key press feels so satisfying, but when it comes to gaming they dont feel quite right. You can make it work for gaming, dont get me wrong, I just think that this keyboard is best for people who dont mind really loud keyboards and want the best typing experience overall. • It made my fingertips hurt after typing for a while, though I feel like this is something that will likely not be a problem with time.
