> 24 hourThis is a good decent quality real deal mechanical KB. Mechanical - referring to the switches under each key cap. Theres a good chance youve never used a mechanical keyboard if you are young so this KB will feel extra nice. Each key has a satisfying *click with tactile feedback. Youll never feel like you havent pressed a key because youll know with the audible click and the bump you feel. The RGB is very nice and bright. There are several animations to play with which can be used as one solid color or what I call RGB mode so you get all the colors in the animation. For example you can do a matrix style animation in green, or red, yellow, orange, blue, purple, pink, or RGB. The matrix rain will go through all the colors randomly and the rain tracer will too as it fades before another drop comes through. Ive owned this for several months now and havent noticed any issues with the keys or the lighting. And Im not a light touch typer. Coworkers often exclaim that they know when Im at work cuz they can hear me typing and it isnt because Im using this clicky keyboard at work. However, I like this keyboard for home so much that I bought another Redragon but the 104 key model this time to take to work. The mushy rubber dome KB provided by work is so very lacking and noticeable when I get home to type/game.

> 24 hourIf youre on a tight budget, this keyboard will definitely suit your needs. Im not exactly sure what the switches are (I believe they are a cherry mx blue clone, contrary to what the specs say), but they are clicky, responsive, and satisfying to use. They are loud enough for people in the room to notice it but not outside the room. The RGB is amazing, and I say that as someone who never cared for RGB. It has many different RGB modes so that everyone is satisfied, and its very bright. It also comes with fold-able legs which is nice. Some cons: typing hard can result in a metal echo/reverb that can be annoying depending on who you are (I find it very easy to tune out, especially since this only happens with hard typing). It doesnt come with any cable management features as some high end keyboards do but that is to be expected. There is also no wrist wrest so be weary of how you place this on your desk as to avoid carpal tunnel, etc. All in all, its a great keyboard, and I only give it 4 stars because Im very critical of my purchases. Any standard user/gamer would give 5 stars.

> 24 hourI’ve been using a large keyboard for years, and thought this would be great for just games & putting around when I don’t need a number pad. The mechanics of the keyboard might not be technically perfect but boy does it feel great! I’ve been typing on keyboards since the Atari 800 & have an original IBM AT keyboard & an Apple Extended II that I use for the mechanical feel. I also picked up an original spec IBM keyboard redesigned for USB from a company in Florida that’s a tank and feels amazing. The problem is the size! When I put this little beauty on my desk, it was like opening the windows in a room; so much space! And it does feel wonderfully mechanical- you can even pull the switches with the included puller and replace them later on - sort of a starter kit for a DIY keyboard of your own design. And the colors are nice - I just set it to a universal solid color but you can do all sorts of things not mentioned in the box - like individual key colors besides the included effects and mixups. There’s some pretty cool ‘sonar’ effects too, but it’s distracting :) nice to have the option though! Overall, this is a great value and improved gaming just because of the space it gives you back! Highly Recommended!

> 24 hourIve gotten into mechanical keyboards and have purchased several switches and keycaps. I purchased a couple of these keyboards for my kids, together with Drop MT3 keycap sets. They work all right, and the blue switches that came included in the prebuilt keyboard are OK, but not great. Theres been a boom on custom switches and theres a lot of brands and models. This allows you to change how the keyboard feels when typing and also how it sounds. For instance: - Switches with different spring strengths will affect how hard you have to press the keys, - Switches with different actuation points will affect how far you have to press before a keystroke is recognized by the PC - Switches of different materials will also affect how smooth they feel when traveling... - Different designs and quality of switches will affect how wobbly the keys feel (left-right or top-bottom movement)... In my opinion, the greatest variety of switches currently available are Cherry MX compatible. My problem with these keyboards is that they have sockets designed for Outemu switches (which are cheaper and possibly less durable than Cherry MX), and these sockets are not compatible with the majority of Cherry MX compatible switches out there. In my case, Ive already got a couple hundred switches from Cherry, Kailh and Gateron, which cant be used on this keyboard model. So, be warned that, if you want to change the switches and customize this particular keyboard, you will need to purchase Outemu or Gazzew switches

> 24 hourIm using this with a 2014 Mac Mini and I had to do a bit of googling to get the volume keys to work. I love the flashy light shows it can do, I usually leave it on the steady rainbow pattern when Im typing though. Personally I love how loud the keys are, but if youre funny about noise then the fact that they click but also make a bit of a thunk when they hit bottom might drive you crazy. I live alone so I dont really care, its kinda like noisy asmr to me lol. I have the Mac bluetooth keyboard I can use if I need/want to be quiet. Its not much bigger than that so it doesnt take up much room on my desk either which is a plus. Its only been a few days but so far Im impressed with the quality for the price.

> 24 hourThis keyboard feels really nice to type on, and if the last couple of months of me furiously smashing away at the keys says anything, it suggests that this Redragon keyboard may just be built to last. And damn it feels like it. For those not so comfortable with mechanical keyboards who do a large amount of typing on their pcs, please consider that this is an incredibly noisy keyboard, not at all like the oh-so-familiar Magic Keyboard by Macintosh. For the others, the casual to semi-league style gamer, or the mechanical keyboard novel writer who spends most of their life in the word application, this keyboard is a good fit, providing a very rewarding click. The weighty build of the K552 gives a great deal of comfort knowing it will not fly off the desk from a light swipe. The keys themselves are perfectly placed and feel fast (is that a thing?). The casing is made of steel, which i dont even understand how that makes sense at the current price point. The LED backlighting has a large amount of built in macros for different color chases and effects which are quite enjoyable to play around with. I myself have chosen the green backlight with the slow waterfall like fade, resembling something along the lines of the famous binary background chase from The Matrix. I hope this helps.

> 24 hourThis is just my second mechanical keyboard. The first was RK ROYAL KLUDGE RK61 Wireless 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. I can only compare it to that model. I use this keyboard for typing and light gaming (Nothing that requires accurate and fast reactions) Keys: pressing the keys feels a bit plasticky. Less satisfying than the other keyboard. The keys feel lighter with less resistance when pressed Structure: This keyboard feels sturdy and heavy. This is not a toy. The keys on the right (arrows, DEL,END PGDN etc) float on the board without frame. It looks like some part is missing but it is more an appearance issue. RGB: Nice, colorful and with enough options to satisfy my humble needs and then some. Software: Unusable. Did not run on my PC (Win10) Its a good keyboard for its price with good features and decent quality.
