Ive had this mouse for 3 years and for 2 out of those 3 years it worked generally well for my needs. But just after the warranty period I started noticing some issues with both left click AND right click. First off was the right click, I was having troubling registering mouse clicks even with sufficient force. Seeing as I was already past warranty I decided to open it up and take a look, it seems the plastic contact underneath the button itself was worn off (low build quality) and it was probably a milimeter or so short of making full contact with the actual switch. That was easy enough to fix with a couple layers of clear plastic tape and its worked fine since. Second was the left click which had a weird mixture of non click registering and even the infamous double click issue. The tape fix worked for a bit, but after a lot of trial and error and removing the teflon tape covering the screws, I noticed a new issue. The shape of the left mouse button was warped slightly, the right side of the button was bent slightly upwards which may explain why sometimes the clicks dont register as like with the right mouse button it was too elevated and it had difficulty reaching the switch when clicking down. Lastly the teflon tape itself, this is mainly my fault since I had to do several attempts of getting enough layers of tape on top of the omron switches meaning I had to take off the tape, remove the screws and open up the mouse. It was a hassle and now the tape despite being cleaned off with rubbing alcohol has almost no adhesive left on it. Im at a point where this mouse is more troublesome than its worth and will probably be searching for another MMO mouse in the same price range, theres another popular one whos brand name I wont say but Ill probably get that one as it costs about the same. Its a shame it started showing its poor build quality a few months after its warranty expired though. You get what you pay for. On a side note, it must be a pain in the rear to get proper support off this company, they must have like 4 or 5 different emails and websites if you need to address them with trying to get a replacement in warranty and the like.

Purchased this back in 2015. Never used a mice like this so when I first got it, it took about a week or two to get used to. It’s a good fit for small hands. The side buttons were very useful and easy to work with (imo), i found it mostly helpful drop kicking kids in fps games. Talking about from noob to ultra chad lvl. -Honestly ergonomics is decent but my thumb and pinky be dragging against the mousepad sometimes. -The rapid fire button is completely useless to me because of how awkward the position is, I’ve only used rapid fire button for cookie clicker simulator but you could just download auto clickers that click faster than the software. -Do you actually use 16k dpi? My profiles go as follows 400-1000 when using photoshop 2000 normal fps setting with 1.8 sensitivity 3000 yes 4000 mainly for browsing 10000 if your a man of culture iykyk All these settings are subjective to you, You may be a person who likes to play like a turtle Or want to be a cracked out sanic hitting 69420’s off a balcony with 16k dpi totally up to you. -Double clicking/misclicks/scroll wheel I’ve only experienced these issues this year, sometimes when clicking left it tends to not register the clicks. Same with right click when im ads it ends up out of ads or doesnt work when holding it down. Scroll wheel is very sensitive, when your trying to punch someone with M3 click but end up scrolling up or down and get finished in apex. Imagine that, nah couldn’t be me. -overall I mean after having it for this long and for the price its a solid mouse. You get what you pay for type of deal. Honestly wouldnt get anything from red dragon again it was a good budget setup but its time to move on.

Purchased February 2016. Still good as new with daily, heavy use in MMO, FPS and RTS. Love the grip which surrounds the black model (white one has a glossy finish). Grip is still clean and looks new other than a small piece wearing away at the left button where the tip of my index finger usually hits, which is totally normal. As long as you keep your hands clean and keep food away from your gear, you are good to go for long term use. Keep lysol wipes handy as gunk will inevitably build up in between the little keys on the side. I have a big hand. Big enough to grip and hold a basketball with one hand. My thumb takes up the whole entire layout where the side buttons are. I can comfortably push them with the tip of my thumb and use the center part of my thumb to hit the keys further down. Its awkward to use the side buttons at first, but itll be second nature in no time. Just grind away like you usually would and youll get used to it. The keys arent just flat. Notice the pattern change between the rows. This makes it SO much easier to access these tiny keys and build them to your muscle memory. The #5 key which is in the center, is the only key to have a small indentation or braille underscore right underneath the number. This will tell your muscle memory that your thumb is at the #5 button, so you can move accordingly. The software that runs with it is easy to use and allows for different profiles. One of my profiles is for web browsing, where I have back and forwards keys set up and one profile is for MMO use, where I have the proper keybinds set up for buttons (1-10, - and =). The lights can be turned off and dont stay on when my pc is off. This depends on your bios settings as well. Turn off the Power to USB when pc is off option if your mouse lights up when your pc is off. This setting exists so you can charge your phone or power certain devices while your pc is off.

So Ive used this mouse now for almost 5 years now and figured Id leave a review. The plastic feels pretty cheap, and the non stick coating has started to come off. The biggest disappointment with this mouse is that it is far too light. Even with all the weights that come with it, it still feels WAY too light - and as someone that prefers heavy mice, thats absolutely a bad thing. I feel like the only way I can fix this problem, is to have a steel bottom plate milled to the exact shape - so that its double or triple the weight that the model currently is. Also, itd be nice is it was slightly larger too, and with some place for my pinkie finger to actually rest, instead of having to drag it off the side and on my mouse pad.

I want to start off by saying that I love Redragon products and have been using their mice for over a decade now and recently began using their other products this year (2021). I recently (back in October) purchased the Legend Chroma (the one with the aluminum bottom plate and 16 side buttons) and I absolutely loved it, except for one thing which was unable to be changed. That would be the bottom button on the top of the mouse that is a DPI switching button. Because there are 4 buttons in that row (vertical), they extend pretty far down the top of the mouse. I have a hybrid mouse grip (claw + fingertip) and this mouse, while I could grip it perfectly between my fingertips, the webbing between my forefinger and middle finger would sometimes hit just over the top of that DPI/mode switch button, and in the middle of a competitive game, my DPI would suddenly switch and I could suddenly not control my actions and we would lose the game. So, unfortunately, though I love that mouse, I had to break down and order a different mouse with less buttons. *** On the 29th of November, I ordered the Perdition3 M901-2. I like the style and the fact that the buttons didnt go so far down, and I just received it today. I have a couple of immediate gripes but the first one (which is why Im bothering to write this) is: The overall textured surface of the mouse does NOT suit my grip style at ALL. In a game (I play Overwatch mostly, some New World), I cannot hold my mouse at all. This is a massive flaw (for me, some people might like this). Sadly, I didnt see anything in the description about it having this kind of texture on the mouse, and it isnt visible in any of the product pictures. This is really making me hate this mouse, which is sad because I really like how my hand fits on the mouse, I like the top button layout, and I have already tried it out and my hand no longer accidentally pushes me into another random dpi mode anymore, which is awesome. But I cannot grip my mouse anymore ..... which is bad. really bad. That --^ is the first and foremost reason why I am bothering to write up this long review. It makes the mouse unusable for me. :( The second thing, which is very frustrating, is that right out of the box, the left button does a double click, instead of a single click. I checked in the customization settings to see if for some reason the left button was bound to a double click, and it was just bound to *left click* so it must be a manufacturing error. While this is unmistakably annoying (I had to spend 3 hours to rebind my keys in game because every time I clicked to activate the rebind menu, bc i was double clicking on accident, it bound my left click instead and removed left click from what it was bound to). Lastly, compared to the Legend Chroma, this mouse is significantly lighter (even with all the weights installed). The cord is honestly heavier than the mouse, and I found myself pushing against the weight of the cord to make movements across my gaming mat. This combined with the fact that I just cannot get a solid grip on my mouse is why I cannot recommend THIS mouse to anyone who has a claw, fingertip, or claw + fingertip hybrid mouse grip and games. ***

This is a great replacement for my Utech Smart Venus and slightly cheaper too in terms of price. Unfortunately as much as I love the Utech Smart mouse it started having mechanical problems with that double/triple-clicking and it does affect game-play which is very annoying. Hopefully the Red Dragon M901 would last me more than 2 years compared to the Utech Smart Venus. I like the packaging for the Red Dragon M901 as its small unlike most mouse packaging out there while they all look nice I just want to throw them in the garbage anyway because they are usually too big but this one is worth keeping because it doesnt take up too much space. This mouse is a little smaller and the left and right mouse button clicks doesnt feel as satisfying as the Utech Smart. But it works great and I do like that coarse material feel on the mouse. Also its very comfortable to handle even on long hours of game time. The driver while it almost looks the same as Utech Smarts driver is a little clunky to configure. It took me about 15 min. to figure out how to properly activate the breathing settings for the Red Dragons light. Also minor complaint that the mouse wheel light doesnt breath like Utech Smart, with the Red Dragon only the numeric side button lights + the Red Dragon logo light that does the breathing. I would have enjoyed it more if all the lights breath but its not a deal breaker imo just subjective preference. What I really didnt like about this mouse is the preset buttons I think Utech Smart did that right with a more balanced DPI presets. This one needs more work in that regard thats why I recommend doing manual settings on the driver so you can set your own desired DPI otherwise the mouse sensitivity from the presets would either be too weak that the pointer barely moves even if you slide the mouse all the way to the side or too strong where the pointer flies all over the screen and you barely even move it. If you play slow paced games 4000-5000 DPI is fine but if youre playing MOBAs, RTS or FPS that require faster reflexes then you can set the DPI as high as 24000 if youre that good. Even though I sound like Im panning the Red Dragon M901 more than Im giving it credit I still like this one a lot and it gets the job done and I would say its a very competitive contender to other MMO mouse such as the Razer Naga and Utech Smart Venus.

I came from owning a Razer Naga. My Naga mouse started to lose its brains after 5 or 6 months. It would often lag or stop working all together. Sometimes it was the fault of the Synapse program. Sometimes it was the fault of the mouse (turned off Synapse and the mouse would still act weird). I grew tired of it after a month or two. Despite updating the drivers. Uninstalling everything and then updating drivers. Unplugging and replugging the mouse in different USB ports...etc. I did it all. So, I had to find a replacement, but I didnt want to pay the price of a Naga. I came across the Perdition Mouse from a company I never heard of. The mouse looked big. Had the 12 side buttons I wanted. And it was cheap, so I took a chance. Didnt have much to lose. First impressions: 1) The arch is much lower than the Naga, so it doesnt fill your hand as much. 2) Finger support on the right hand side of the mouse takes some time getting used to because at first my ring finger would ache But, I kept at it. I kept using it. Pros: 1) Price 2) The 12 side buttons click and are not mushy 3) Solid scroll wheel 4) Great mouse texture 5) The program used to create mouse profiles seems a bit archaic, but it is simple and straight forward to use. 6) Profiles save on the mouse itself 7) Handles very well with a good sensor 8) Price 9) It isnt super expensive like the Naga 10) Works with Windows 10 Cons: 1) Color scheme is a bit weird. With the red accents on the mouse, changing the LED color on the mouse doesnt really impress much 2) The color on the scroll wheel is fixed to a DPI setting 3) The cable is a bit heavy For the price, it is honestly the best mouse you can buy. If you have regular sized hands or smaller hands, you will love it instantly. For those with large spider hands, you will have to give it some time, but it will be worth it. Works perfectly for MMORPG, high end PvP gaming.

Ive had the Redragon Perdition for a couple of weeks so I thought it was time to write something since it appears to be a new offering on the market. = CONS = * As others have mentioned, the back column of buttons (7, 8, 9) is awkward to reach. * There is no left or right tilt function to the scroll wheel. That doesnt bother me, but Scroll Up and Scroll Down arent programmable, and I wish they were. (I use Combat Mod 1.1 to rebind them in Guild Wars 2.) * You also cant program the mouse to do an infinite loop, like hold down right-click until you tell it to stop. * The red index finger button is mainly why I took a chance on the Perdition and not the Logitech G600, but unfortunately, it doesnt function like the G600s G-shift button. Its essentially a second left-click, thats it. EDIT: PLEASE READ COMMENTS BELOW. * It would be nice if the center row of buttons (2, 5, 8, 11) were slightly higher than the other rows or had raised dots on them for a little extra help in telling where my thumb is located. * The side buttons feel mushy and are quiet, much like the Logitech G600. The Razer Nagas buttons are wonderfully clicky, but I value the canted button style of the G600 and Redragon Perdition more. * The scroll wheel light is assigned according to DPI sensitivity rather than profile like the rest of the lights on the mouse, so you may end up with mismatching lights. * When I tried to download the driver software from Redragons site (because my CD/DVD drive is broken), Google Chrome warned me it was malware. I used Firefox to download it, and ran scans via MS Security Essentials, Malwarebytes, and Spybot Search and Destroy. The scans all came back clean, so I installed it. = PROS = * The mouse has a good, solid build and feel; the textured body is comfortable to grip for my small female hands. It even has a sturdy braided cord. Fit and finish are excellent. * Pretty LED lights. They are quite pretty, and I like their breathing effect on the dragon logo and side keys. It is visually a very nice mouse. * Index finger button. Even if it doesnt function like Logitechs G-shiift button, its in a better location in my opinion. (And maybe Redragon will extend the functionality of their software one day. One can hope.) * Aside from the awkward location of the side buttons back column, everything is easy to reach. The top buttons have a decently defined clicky feel. * You can set polling rates to 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, and 1000Hz. * You can have up to five profiles. * DPI settings available are: 1000 (orange scroll wheel light), 2000 (green), 4000 (blue), 8200 (lavender), and 16400 (red). * Tuning weights are packed inside the mouse when you receive it. I leave all of them in the mouse, since I dont lift the mouse to adjust the pointer often. Weights give the mouse a solid feel. * The Redragon Perditions software interface is clean and simple to use. It only took me a few minutes to get rolling. Impressive, as I was a tad apprehensive about what Id face from a new brand. = OVERALL = The Logitech G600 is far more programmable, and the Razer Naga has clickier buttons, but the Redragon Perdition is a solid contender and stands up well against both of them. Id recommend anyone with small-medium sized hands who can live with five profiles and 16 programmable buttons (since left and right click are so basic, reprogramming them may not ever be an option) take a look at this mouse. --- UPDATE AUGUST 30, 2014: Ive gotten used to playing Guild Wars 2 with this mouse and am still happy with its build and performance. An MMO mouse really makes click-happy professions like elementalist and ranger so much easier to play.

I wanted a white mouse to match my new desk set up. I previously owned the Logitech G600 Mouse (which I still prefer/love). Redragon makes quality affordable peripherals. Their price range is solid. Their macro mouse is no different. It took me a little bit to get use to when I was gaming compared to my G600 but once I did, it wasnt terrible. I docked a star for ergonomics because theres just something off about the side keys and it doesnt feel as natural as my G600.

You could say this was a chinese copy but it’s better built than the naga Multicolored leds, weights, and you do not have to hold your hand in a half fisted position as much to hold it since it is larger than the naga, you can rest your hand more but needs to still be longer from the cord connection to the back where it sits in your wrist; the deathadder is perfect size and shape just needs naga buttons switching from deathadder to naga was good for gaming but holding my hand in this half fist position made me get cramps until i get used to it; and i has a similar logo to guildwars. This is really a 5 star product slightly larger than naga very similar shape and button design; as well as being better built w/better materials nagas casing is flappy plastic this ones way more durable about 3x the width and a better looking plastic and the button rows are seperated by design which with naga you do kinda s***ty and seperatly with buttons. The only problem with this mouse is they kept a similar size to naga which makes you ball your hand (hold in half fisted position while flexing muscles in hand it will hurt) and can cause cramps Razer deathadder is the perfect mouse shape and size for pure comfort I am giving this mouse 4 stars as a product due to it keeping nagas small shape they go deathadder with this button design and materials and they have the perfect mouse for mmo and comfort. 5 star transaction, 5 star everything but I want to give a 4 star so maybe they can produce a naga/deathadder hybrid for the comfort and have the perfect/best mouse out. With how well this looks built I highly doubt I will have the naga double click issue within a year since its a common occurence with naga and this mouse is less than half the price. This vs naga is a no brainer you buy this mouse.
