It says it lasts up to 5 years, but Ive gone through 2 already in the past 2 years. They last a good year before they die. Otherwise, its perfect for my hedgehog.

works well so far....not quite as warm as I expected. Keeps one end of 40 gal terrarium only about 80 deg...not the 90 to 95 deg I was looking for. Nest time I will go with the 150 watt.

This item does what it is intended for! It keeps my sugar glider warm and happy. Four more words here.

I bought 2 of these for my dogs during the winter. They get hot enough to burn you, so be careful. They raise the temp of a dog house to about 50 or 60 degrees when the temp is below freezing. They feel very well build and I will buy more if I need a cheap way to heat an outdoor enclosure.

Just doesnt produce the amount of heat I was hoping for - probably need a 150 (maximum for my lamp) but it seems well made and does what its advertised to do. Even 150 would have to supplement our hedgies room with a space heater, but how do you know til you try something? Glad I didnt pay pet store prices - although would have been easier to return :-) I cant fault the product but I dont love it!

Way better than a red bulb! Lasts so much longer and doesnt doesnt produce any light at night which is nice. Perfect for adult bearded dragon.

I use these for my 2 tortoises and my 5 snakes. The heating quality is supburb and they last for ages. Im not sure if theres a recommended replacement time for them, but I usually just use them until they burn out--which seems to be a couple years.
