I got this for use in my hedgehogs plastic tub along with a thermostat, and so far its been working great. It adequately heats the tub to the ideal 75 degrees.

These warm much better than the light bulbs. And they last a ton longer too. Much more economical than buying light bulbs.

We bought this for a 40 gallon reptile tank. The basking area only got to 75 degrees. We need it to be at least 80. We had to return it.

Keeps the ball python warm as a bug in a rug. Hes happy so Im happy. He moves around depending on what temp he requires.

Can’t speak to longevity, as I’ve only had it for a month, but my gecko enjoys the extra warmth.

Already burned out

I bought this in hopes it would arrived quckly and keep my poor beardie warm after I realized his other bulb went out. Pet owners, be aware that these bulbs dont glow so the only way to know if they burn out is by touching them on a regular basis. My old one burned out after about 3 months of use, and I didnt catch it for who knows how long. This bulb arrived quickly and keeps my cage at about 75 degrees in the winter when my house is only at 46 degrees.

Had this heater bulb running 24/7 so far since may of 2017, that’s almost 6000 hours, and I’ve had no problems
