Greater than one weekI expect this to produce more heat.... Takes a long time to heat up.... A basking light at the same wattage produces about 30-50 degrees more heat... I put this on my 40 gallon broader tank and it isnt enough will only keep tank 10 above ambient temp.

> 3 dayThis product is very effective in my 4x4 chicken coop. I highly recommend it for chicken coops as it doesnt give off any light so they can have darkness & heat at night.

> 3 dayAfter looking into multiple ways to provide a little warmth to both pets, chickens, and their water source during our harsh winters, Ive settled on these ceramic IR emitters as the safest, most robust, and multi-use solution. Heating pads are very unreliable and fail to either off/broken or continuously on/broken ... failing to on worries me the most. Regular light bulbs arent as efficient, are very fragile, and provide unwanted light. Other heater types use copious energy and often have unsafe failure modes. Most wont turn back on after a power failure. These IR emitters are robust, efficient at providing heat, and safe. They turn right back on after power glitches and fail (none have failed so far) into a safe off mode. I highly recommend these for helping out with spot warmth during the winter.

> 3 dayI think my lamp must be faulty because I just cannot seem to get anything higher than 85 degrees of heat out of this thing even aimed from 12 inches above the 50 gallon enclosure. I was hoping to get at least 90 and the only way I am going to get this is if I have it right on top of my turtle. Its really not hot unless I touch it directly. I dont feel any radiant heat coming off of it. I think I will return it in hope that a replacement will work better as this does not seem to be an issue from other perspectives. I have a feeling I got a dud or perhaps one that was previously returned and resold. So far I am disappointed.

> 3 dayThis heat emitter is amazing! Its been a lifesaver for my reptiles during the colder months. I love that it emits heat without any light, which helps keep my reptiles on a natural day/night cycle. The emitter is also very durable and has a long lifespan, so I dont have to worry about replacing it anytime soon. Its also very easy to install and use. Overall, I would definitely recommend this heat emitter to any reptile owners looking for a reliable and effective way to keep their pets warm and comfortable.

Greater than one weekI didnt really know what to expect - this did not produce as much heat as I thought it would. Wish there was some way to explain how much heat it would produce. Did not do what I needed it to.
