> 3 dayI place it in my house and it is so powerful that it just heat my whole house up and I got so dry that I cannot use it anymore. I return the item after using it for a day. I think you dont want to see your pets skin crack because of extreme dryness.

> 3 dayIt says it lasts up to 5 years, but I purchased mine on April 23,2021, and today, 11/17/2021 it is broken. The contact spot literally melted my dome contact to it. We heard a crack, click, and saw a spark and then my son let me know it wasnt working. I turned it off, unscrewed it and it literally looked like someone was doing welding to the top of it. I dont know if the bulb was bad or what, but this definitely did not last even a year. I have no choice at the moment but to buy another one, but I plan on looking for a better replacement of a heat source for our beardie.

> 3 dayThis puts out a good amount of heat. Its very useful for keeping tropical animals in a normal room temperature room.

> 3 dayNo light, good heat! this sits about 6 from the basking spot and with thermostat keeps it at a nice and toasty 92F (it would be hotter without the thermostat)

Greater than one weekWhen it worked it kept my Beardie real cozy & warm. Then for some reason it just stopped working. I think I may have gotten a defective one because they are supposed to last longer than 6 months. I am giving it a second try to see if it lasts, because a bulb lasted for 6 months or so before it burnt out. If the 2nd time is not the charm,I will report back to let you know.
