> 24 hourNo problems pairing this with my genesis mini. Pairs every time. Feels like the real thing too. It functions with 99% of the 200+ games Ive tried it with but havent found many games that use the additional 3 grey buttons. No issues with lag/latency or with the button double clicking or anything like that. It reaches a good 30 or so before losing connection. Ive played for hours so I know the battery life is good but there is one issue... It seems like the battery drains the moment you unplug them from the charger, if youre playing or not. Even if fully charged hours ago, youll have to charge them before you play. I honestly love this product though. It comes in a really nice case too.

> 24 hourI like the design as it is very similar to the original. But the D-Pad doesnt work, the other button work just fine.

> 24 hourLove the Retrobit take on the wireless version for one of my favorite pads of all time. I got the Saturn 2.4ghz first to see if it would pass the test (Panzer Dragoon) and the results are no lag or disconnecting during gameplay. So had to grab this one while it was available and honestly, I actually like the feel of this one better, marginally. If there was one thing that Retrobit could change, I’d say come out with some additional colors besides the few that’s currently out in the market. If they remain consistent on their firmware updates, then I def can see myself using this pad for a long time!

> 24 hourIt arrived ahead of schedule, and has the look and feel of the classic genesis controller. My only issue is there isnt any instruction on how to turn off the controller when youre done playing. Im still trying to figure that out. Other than that, its a lot of fun.

> 24 hourThis is a very good controller. The d-pad and buttons feel great. The only downside is that the controller is not as comfortable to hold as the 8BitDo M30, but if you’re not familiar with that controller, I don’t think you’d be disappointed by the Retro-Bit controller.

> 24 hourI bought two of these for my Genesis Mini. Out the box, they had trouble pairing and Miss assigned buttons that rendered games unplayable. I specifically bought these to play Xeno Crisis on my mini. I found the company to have lackluster customer service, and the controls had software incompatibility with hakchi. After 2 weeks of getting back and forth with customer service, I finally found the solution myself. I had to pull Hakchi off, reinstall the factory Kernal and install Planet lunar help instead. If it werent for the crappy customer service that I experienced, they would definitely have a higher rating for me.

> 24 hourI can finally play the Genesis without wires! I dont notice any additional lag, and the controller feels just like the regular six-button.

> 24 hourThis controller is garbage. The LED light and shoulder buttons broke after one minor drop. The D-pad broke after a month of normal use. The battery doesn’t hold a charge. It is cheap plastic and then when I attempted to get a replacement with the $5 warranty I bought, I got the run-around. I will never buy another Retro*hit controller. They are trash.

> 24 hourI would rate it 3.5 stars if I could. It feels like an original genesis controller in terms of ergonomics and quality. The buttons and d-pad feel just as good as the original as well. The only issues are the controller charges via mini USB. I would have preferred USB-C but its not a big deal. The other issue is pairing. Sometimes it pairs on start up and sometimes it requires one of the three methods for pairing. It gets a little frustrating when you just want to power up and jump into a game but you have to take five minutes to get it connected.

> 24 hourI have owned the 8BitDo M30 for about 6 months prior to getting this one. I wanted to have an Official Sega one. After a day of usage here are my thoughts: - This controller feels a little cheap, specifically buttons dont release as easily as the M30 - The controller feels a lot lighter than the M30 - Sometimes I need to input my commands multiple times, but Im not sure this is a Sega Genesis Mini problem, or a controller issue - Included adapters (both standard USB and Genesis Original Controller adapter) are a nice touch - Carrying case is nice but bulky This controller will become the Second Player controller. Im also considering to send it back and just getting a second M30.
