Greater than one weekBuy this right away! Works perfect. Pairs very easy. Feels just like an original 6 button controller. I played UMK3 and had no issues. I will be ordering another.

Greater than one weekLove this controller. Works perfectly with my Genesis mini and my original Genesis model 1. I updated the firmware for both receivers before I started. One thing to note is that on the Genesis mini you would normally hold the start button down for a few seconds to get out of a game your playing to get to the Genesis mini menu. With this controller you can just hit the select button which is easier. If you use project lunar with your Genesis mini the games that you use a different core with retroarch you have to still hold the start button down like you would on the stock controller. Overall I would highly recommend this controller as it enables you to properly play some games like Street fighter 2 and mortal kombat which use more than 3 buttons. Also it cleans up my room since I dont have to have the Genesis/mini pulled out so my wired controller can reach. Now it sits clean on the tv stand and the wireless works perfectly. I have not noticed any additional lag or anything. I have attached a picture of the wireless controller next to my original 6 button Sega controller for reference. Its pretty much the same size. I cant see myself using the 3 button controller anymore after this purchase.

> 3 dayNeeded to charge the USB controller for a minute - but it worked perfectly once I charged it and ran the instructions. My Sega is super-modern and you cant stop me!!

21-11-2024The cool thing about the Sega Genesis wireless controllers, that you can use it in without any cords. The battery life is more than superb, I think you can get up to about 100 hours off of one charge or something insane like that so I went and bought a iceberg blue one and the regular black one. It also has an adapter for if you wanted to plug it in to the original Sega Genesis console, thats if you still have one hahaha Ive been perfectly fine with my purchases you should get one too!

> 3 dayIts great when it works, but getting it to connect to the receiver when you turn it on is an annoying process of holding buttons down until they stop flashing. I havent tested it with the USB receiver.

> 3 dayAn ideal product. The 2.4-GHz version has less input lag than the Bluetooth version (I experienced no perceivable lag while using the 2.4-GHz version), and the controller just feels great. Exactly like the original, except wireless. Its nice that this version comes with the adapters as well, so you can use it with the original console or with newer compatible systems.

> 3 dayThere are plenty of reviews out there. I plugged into my original Sega Genesis model 2 and it worked like a charm, plugged the other into a sega genesis mini and it worked great. You have to sync it every-time you change consoles. Works great! better than dealing with all the wires of the standard controllers.

> 3 dayI love that they kept the original design. Original is on the left and the one bought is on right. It is slightly slimmer and smaller than the original but we didnt feel like it was lacking in any way. No issues with connecting to our sega and plan to use with the switch and computer in the future!

> 3 dayI purchased this wireless controller recently to use with my PC and I was hoping it would also work with my Atari. Great news! It works. So lets start with the good things: The look and the packaging are both outstanding. It comes with a nice case that holds the controller, the 2 dongles, USB cord and manual. It works with a wide variety of systems, including the Atari 2600 and 7800 (one-button only). I have yet to test on my Atari computer and original Genesis, but those should work fine with it too. Now for some not-so-good things: the controller is very light, which seems a bit odd. I never had this particular model of wired Genesis controller, so I cant really compare it though. Actually the only Genesis controller I have is a wired Hyperkin 6-button which is bigger and seems heavier. They could have put some weights in it. Just sayin. But the worst thing about this controller has to do with pairing. It should be automatic, and many times it is not. The controller and receiver lose their connection somewhat quickly when power is shut off to the system, then they need to be paired again by holding down buttons on both the dongle and controller. This is not so much of an issue on the PC, where you can switch games and emulators quickly without ever shuttling down the system, but with a console, you typically have to. I found that on the Atari 2600, if you swap out cartridges quickly (within 10 seconds or so) it will usually automatically re-pair itself. It didnt always do that on the Atari 7800 however and I had to fight with the pairing buttons again. Also, with emulators on the PC, you will have to go into the settings and manually configure some of them (for example, in Stella, you will have to set the inputs to move up or down manually). Anyway, for $35, I was expecting a little better. For a comparison, the Blue Lake wireless PS2 controllers, while not Genesis compatible, are half the price, work great with PCs, and always pair automatically.
