If youre looking to get into emulating the Genesis and Saturn on PC this works great! Also good for fighting games like Mortal Kombat 11

Great product that lets us experience being eleven again without the limitation of cables. It’s nice sitting on the couch and playing Sonic on an identical Genesis controller and not having to sit on the floor. The lack of crooked neck pain makes it worth purchasing. Good value for hours of fun.

I recently acquired a highly customized Stainless Steel Cased Neo Geo MVS console. It has controller ports for the original Neo Geo, Sega Saturn, Sega Genesis and PlayStation 2. I cant find any Neo Geo wireless controllers and highly doubt they ever existed. I had used wireless PlayStation 2 controllers several years ago but all that I could find available now run on two AAA batteries. I wanted a solution that would work with my port options and be rechargeable. This gave me the choice of the Retro-Bit Sega Genesis (this model) or the Retro-Bit Sega Saturn wireless controllers. Both models are available with or without the extra USB dongle. I decided to buy the model with the extra USB dongle. My reasoning for buying the dual purpose model was I had a lot of doubt this would work on my Neo Geo console. If it didnt work, I could at least use it with a PC. Now that I know it works perfectly, I will probably give the Retro-Bit Sega Saturn model a try. Im glad I took a chance because now I can play my Neo Geo console with a wireless controller. The button layout isnt exactly where I would put them but very close. The Start button is still the Start button and the Select button adds coins to continue. Pressing Start and Select at the same time gets me into my BIOS to make changes there if I want. The same BIOS menu can act as Pause. All things considered, I think its about as perfect a solution as I could hope for. I dont own a Sega Genesis but I did use it a bit on PC running retro games with emulators and I find it great for that purpose as well. I have no doubts it would work on an original Sega Genesis and it does make a decent PC controller for emulators. If you need a controller for either, this is a good choice.

Enjoying this thing on orginal hardware. Feels like the old wire controllers really knocked it out of the park and worth every penny. One thing I dislike it gave my model 2 a malfunction when it powered on when I had the mini USB in since I thought it needed a power supply. Unplugged all the power and it still showed the Genesis having the red light and powered on.

I use this on my Sega CDX. Works great. Can’t tell a difference from using the original controllers to this except for the fact that there is no cord. I sit over 10 feet from the TV so this makes it way more convenient. Can’t wait until Retro-Bit releases the wireless Dreamcast controller.

Love the Retrobit take on the wireless version for one of my favorite pads of all time. I got the Saturn 2.4ghz first to see if it would pass the test (Panzer Dragoon) and the results are no lag or disconnecting during gameplay. So had to grab this one while it was available and honestly, I actually like the feel of this one better, marginally. If there was one thing that Retrobit could change, I’d say come out with some additional colors besides the few that’s currently out in the market. If they remain consistent on their firmware updates, then I def can see myself using this pad for a long time!

This is a very good controller. The d-pad and buttons feel great. The only downside is that the controller is not as comfortable to hold as the 8BitDo M30, but if you’re not familiar with that controller, I don’t think you’d be disappointed by the Retro-Bit controller.

Purchased two of these wireless controllers and both do not work on two different Genesis mini consoles. I also have the wired versions and they work flawlessly. Stick with the wired controllers for your Genesis mini.

Controller feels really good with no noticeable lag. Only issue I have had is sometimes certain button combinations change a setting on the controller that you need to unplug the part connected to the console to fix.
