This looks and feels like the original, but has the advantage of wireless. The packaging was very nice too. We will be buying more.

Works perfectly with the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis mini. Also works with the AT Games Legends Flashback but you have to supply 5v to the adapter via USB cable. Very happy with the comfort and quality of the controller. There are many reviews on YouTube of using this controller on various consoles.

I dont recommend this if youre buying it for use with the Switch like I did. I have the Sega Classics collection and it is pretty useless for those games. There is no in-game button mapping option and you cant map this controller through the Switch settings either. This means your stuck with the crappy layout for that collection. There are other Sega Ages games I wanted to buy but it appears I wont be able to properly map those either. The C and Z buttons are mapped to ZL and RL which makes the standard Sega 6 button layout impossible through the in-game mapping . Whats the point of using this if I cant set it up like the original Sega 6 button controller? I was going to still give it 3 stars but theres a couple other annoying issues. I turned off my Switch (not sleep mode but completely off) and the USB receiver LED kept flashing. This was 45 minutes after I turned it off. Thats just stupid. I hope Im missing something here? Did I do something wrong or does this thing just keep searching until its unplugged? Also the location of the pairing button. Really brilliant idea to locate that in a spot where the switch is blocking access to it. This controller could have been perfect. Such a shame.

Use this for Sega Genesis. Also tried it out in Atari. Works great. I do prefer the simpler controller but the quality and reliability of this one is worth the extra buttons.

Works on every console or mini console Ive tried it on , and also my old Genesis. The D-pad is extremely touchy, but its not a problem. Its super light. Great controller that Im sorry I didnt get sooner!

It arrived ahead of schedule, and has the look and feel of the classic genesis controller. My only issue is there isnt any instruction on how to turn off the controller when youre done playing. Im still trying to figure that out. Other than that, its a lot of fun.

So far so good. The controller works well, although it does feel a little cheap. PAIRING was an issue until I figured out that the instructions are incorrect. After you plug the receiver into the consoles port and press the start button on your controller (turning it on), you need to PRESS & HOLD THE SYNC BUTTON ON THE RECEIVER AND THEN PRESS THE START BUTTON ON YOUR CONTROLLER. The biggest plus on this controller (which Ive been waiting on) is that since it has the extra Sega Genesis receiver, you can use the controller on your original Sega Genesis. BUT, most people dont know this, you can also use this receiver on your Retron 5 AND your original Atari 2600!!! Yep, thats right. You can now play your original Atari 2600 wirelessly. The original Atari 2600 controller ports are the same as the Sega Genesis which means that you can use Genesis controllers on your Atari (which is how I play my vintage Atari games). I tested this wireless controller on both consoles and sure enough, it works great. Happy gaming!

This works well on all the devices I have tested or played with it on (PC, Switch, Sega Genesis). I somehow actually missed the fact it had a genesis dongle when I bought it (I originally just wanted it for PC/Switch) so that was a pleasent surprise. I do not experience any input lag when using it. The button presses and d-pad feel are great, really close to how they used to feel. Plastic feels about close, too. Controller is really light, but thats not an issue, youll just notice as soon as you handle an original controller. I havent had any issues with battery life or play time yet, but I only play for a couple hours at most. Packaging was fantastic, the storage container is great. Overall definitely got my moneys worth out of this one.
