The build quality is amazing. Comes with two receivers, so you can play in your original Sega Genesis too. The d-pad is absolutely awesome, this is the best controller to play 16 bit games ever made

I love that they kept the original design. Original is on the left and the one bought is on right. It is slightly slimmer and smaller than the original but we didnt feel like it was lacking in any way. No issues with connecting to our sega and plan to use with the switch and computer in the future!

The way you pair this controller is tedious and difficult to get working. It sometimes take 4 or 5 tries of going through the paring process to get working. The biggest problem is if you are using this with a real Sega Genesis, you must leave the power on your Genesis on or you will have to re-pair it everytime you turn it off and back on. Even when you do get it working, there is a slight but annoying input lag to this controller. The receiver should use a small battery or something so it does not require the Genesis to power it, and so the Genesis does not need to be on to stay paired. Used twice, and now its collecting dust on my shelf. The setup is too tedious to use it over a wired controller.

Easy to use, true form and feel to OEM, simple directions for pairing w/ different devices, super slick holding case. I use it on my old model 2 Genesis and the new mini. Works great on both.

This controller does offer long battery life, feels right to me having grown up playing the original Genesis, and works just fine... But theres a definite quality control problem with the plastic tabs that operate the D-pad. One of them broke within less than two hours of use, and contacting the manufacturer was no help. At least I was able to repair it myself with some super glue and none of the other tabs have snapped off.

No problems pairing this with my genesis mini. Pairs every time. Feels like the real thing too. It functions with 99% of the 200+ games Ive tried it with but havent found many games that use the additional 3 grey buttons. No issues with lag/latency or with the button double clicking or anything like that. It reaches a good 30 or so before losing connection. Ive played for hours so I know the battery life is good but there is one issue... It seems like the battery drains the moment you unplug them from the charger, if youre playing or not. Even if fully charged hours ago, youll have to charge them before you play. I honestly love this product though. It comes in a really nice case too.

Been using it on my Genesis, Mega Sg, Switch, PC, Genesis Mini, and laptop. Work extremely well. Despite competing with 8bitdo in certain aspects, they fall on button arrangement on PC and Switch, whereas the M30 does not have these issues. If you just want a Genesis/Genesis Mini controller without a cable, its a fantastic controller. Just dont plan on anything like Retroarch or Steam without a serious headache.

I purchased this controller to use with a Mister FPGA system. Works great. Controller feels great and comes in a nice case as well. Great value!
