Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning 2 | Disc Burner & Video Capture [PC Disc]

I have used the original version of the software since 2011. Recently I purchased a new computer & was concerned about installing an application that was 9 years old. So, I purchased the newest version that Roxio released in 2019. It looks and feels the same as the prior version & installed just fine on Windows 10 version 20H2.

The only reason I am giving this a 2 star is because I will be able to return the software. I wanted to be able to copy home DVDs to a second DVD, but was never able to figure out how the software worked or if it did! The help feature was worthless! I went as far as asking for tech help. I was supposed to get a response in 24 hours. A week later I get an email with a 14 page document that did nothing more than walk me through how to install the software and copy files from my computer to a disc and refer me again to the helpdesk!

First disk would not load, I had to reorder another disk. The next disk seemed to load OK.

I read many reviews and wasnt sure about getting this. My old Roxio was outdated and wouldnt load. This was simple to use. It does take a while to copy Dvds but I got the project done with minimal time. I recommend this to anyone that has used burning software before. I tried several free ones on the internet without satisfaction. Worth the money.

works as advertised, no issues with Win10 or 11, dont expect more, does the basics

Having gotten a new Windows 10 computer, I decided to also upgrade to this version of Roxio, which I purchased at Best Buy. When trying to burn a large set of songs, in the MP3 format, I was prompted to insert a dual layer DVD, not a CD. I could not burn my playlist, and worse, I could get no help from Roxio support. Thinking that maybe the Roxio disk was flawed, I removed the program from my computer, and downloaded one from Amazon. Same result. When I decided to make a much smaller playlist and record it in the normal CD format. the program recorded the song out of the sequence I wanted. I used Roxio on my two older computers with no issue. This is just a huge disappointment. I dont know who to turn to for help, because no one from Roxio has stepped up to help me or offer any help.

I know burning DVDs is antiquated, but this software is extremely clunky. Many things that you would think would be very intuitive or obvious are missing or extremely difficult. For example, you can add background music to a menu, but you dont have the option for no music, so it plays default music. Also, if you create chapters, the menus force you to select a chapter when playing the DVD rather than opting to go directly into the movie like most DVDs. I guess for 20 bucks you get what you pay for.

There was a bit of a learning curve for me. Technology has past me by. When I got my first computer there was no internet. Once i got this software working it is fantastic. The one thing I would like to see with this software is the ability to have more than just four movies made at a time.

Didnt need the pdf. Straight forward. I did about 150 cd rips.

dvd burning software that cant burn dvds. annoying interface, very limited customization. constant unhelpful errors. company refuses to help.
