Ruvati 15 x 20 inch Drop-in Topmount Bar Prep Sink 16 Gauge Stainless Steel Single Bowl - RVH8110

Our old enameled cast-iron two bowl undermount sink was falling and it wasnt worth remounting it -- 130 lbs, easy to stain, hard to clean, two bowls were both too small to wash a large pan. Our handyman recommended a single bowl stainless and based on some reviews on line we found this Ruvati, made in the USA. He installed it easily (taking out the old one was the bulk of the work) since its an overmount. Its easier to clean, mostly spraying down and a good run with a brush. The rack in the model is good to hold dishes so water drains below them, and they stay flat instead of tilted to the sink (which grades to the drain). The best part is the large, single bowl -- I can wash roasting pans and large fry pans in there without any problems now! Wonderful! In this day and age of dishwashers being more water-efficient, a two bowl sink no longer makes sense. This is the way to go for a modern sink! It also matches our stainless steel appliances.

Just got this installed and I LOOOOVE it. Our previous double basin sink had curved corners and I was concerned that we might need to cut back the counter to fit this big guy, but it slipped right into place. The counter clips arent easy to attach due to tight clearances in a 36 inch cabinet--(be sure to attach the clips to the sink itself before you set the sink in place)-- but as others mentioned, some wood blocking makes the ones at the back edge more stable. This sink is so much bigger and more functional than our old one that I can hardly get over the fact that it doesnt occupy any more cabinet space. If you wanted, you could easily bathe two preschoolers in it at the same time.

Item arrived in perfect condition - excellent protective packaging and I was delighted with the quality of the product.

While the sink is OK. I have to take issue with the marketing plan. Specifically the decision to put the cutout dimensions in a DWG file. I was unable to open this file even by using Autodesks on-line software. Why am I making an issue of this? Because I, like most of us, do not want to have to cut counter tops if it can be avoided. So one of my important criterion was a sink with a compatible cut out dimension. I have a more or less standard cutout. Without being able to open the DWG drawing I relied on the sink dimensions that are viewable and estimated the cutout required. DONT DO THAT. I believe the reason Ruvati makes it difficult to see the required cutout is because due to the design of the sink, the cut out is a lot larger that one would guess from looking at the published sink dimensions. Remember the cutout dimension drawing is simply a rectangle. So why does Ruvati make it so difficult to see it by using a non standard file format? And why doesnt Ruvati simply state the required cutout in the published detail? I believe its because many would realize that they will have to make a new cutout IF they have the room to do it. Ruvati will no doubt claim that they provided the info in the special (rectangle) DWG drawing. But IMO its a fig leaf. Dont buy unless you verify the cutout dimension first.

I wanted to surprise my beautiful wife as we were remodeling the kitchen. I knew she wanted a stainless single bowl sink, so I am a bit anal and like always, I spent a couple days reviewing sinks. I tend to want the best of the best for myself and family as well! In this case it was clear, the company and the sink was top quality and first class customer service with Ruvati.. This sink has a thick wall and noise damping coating on the bottom side. It is with no question, top of the line! Back to the wife, she was thrilled and has had many compliments on this awesome sink! If you can compare others, you will see loud and clear!

We ordered this particular Ruvati single bowl sink after looking through quite a few options all over the internet and in stores. This one appeared very stylish and well-made. The price was very reasonable too. And it was exactly what we wanted. The sink looks even better in real life. High quality stainless steel combined with contemporary style make it a perfect fit for our kitchen. We have been using it for a couple of months now and I should say that it is also very easy to maintain. It didnt lose color and didnt get any stains or scratches. Love it!!! Also, I should mention that it arrived very fast and in a very nice solid box to prevent any damage during shipping. I absolutely recommend it to everybody. Great product!

I needed a nice, functional and eye appeasing sink in my newly designed garage. This sink meets all of my needs. I didnt want a large fiberglass sink because Ill be mostly washing my hands and dirty rags and it would be an eye sore. The sink arrived with no damage. It was packed to prevent any shipping problems. I am especially thankful to the customer service Ruvati offers its customers. When I received the sink I noticed the mounting clamps were too short. I called Ruvati to explain my problem and they had the longer clamps mailed and in my hands within 3 days. I received them in time for the installers to do their job without disruption. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would buy a Ruvati sink again.

4.5 stars - almost perfect with some general issues. Pros - This is a beautiful sink that really upgraded the look and feel of the kitchen sink. It is deep and can fill up a lot of pots and dishes with no problem. The dimensions fits perfectly and replaced our existing sink (dimensions were pretty much spot on). Theres a general slant that allows food material to flow easier to the middle. I never had a grill in any sinks I used before before but I really liked how the food flow under the grill without attaching to the bottom of pots and pans.It also protects the sink bottom from general scratches. The sink itself is pretty heavy weight and does not have any of the typical hollow sound that accompanied some of the cheaper stainless sinks. Cons - Because it is fairly deep, it does cut into the below sink cabinet space. The sink requires pretty frequent cleaning to minimize mold and grime that tend to stick to the corners. The grill also need periodic cleaning as grime tend to stick to the corners. The sink also attracts water spots and does requires a lot more wiping to maintain a clean look. Shipping and packaging was perfect. It arrived on time and was perfectly packaged. No complaints whatsoever. Overall - A friend commented that if she ever had her own place, shed want a sink just like ours. Im pretty happy with this sink - minus the extra cleaning required... it exceeded my original expectations. If youre ok with doing general wipe downs daily and want a stainless steel sink, this is the sink to get.

We love this sink. Like many other reviewers, we wanted the heavier 16 gauge steel and the extra deep basin. The dimensions were bigger in every direction than our old sink, but it still fit in our existing cabinet. It gives the illusion that the kitchen is actually bigger just because it fills in every available inch of the cabinetry. The sight lines even make the kitchen look more tidy since dirty dishes arent as visible while theyre waiting to be washed. Weve never had a sink with a rinse grid, but we absolutely love it for hand washing. It may flex under the weight of a stock pot filled with water, but its great for keeping food particles off dishes as you wash. Weve had no problems with draining or pooling as a result of the contours on the bottom, but we do need a sprayer to get into the corners. We decided to remove our old garbage disposal so we could fit this sink and we dont regret it at all. The strainer cup is very deep (2) and sturdy and we have no trouble emptying it as needed. We were warned that the sharp zero radius corners would be harder to clean so we were prepared to be a lit more careful and thorough. After a few months, it was sad to see the first of the inevitable scratches. It would have been nice to keep pristine forever, but thats unrealistic. It should bring us years of service.

We needed a drop-in sink for our new kitchen. I chose not to go with the plumbers choice, as it was a 20 gauge and not the size I wanted. This sink is beautiful! Large single bowl, and heavy duty 16 gauge, with a modern edge. Can a sink be sexy??? yes it can! I wanted a single bowl large enough to have a dish pan and my drying rack (I hate having the drying rack on the counter) and if i have large pans that need a soak i wanted the room. My plumber, and all the construction crew were very impressed. Wanted to know where did I find such a cool sink Ive received many compliments from friends and family. I would definitely recommend this sink.
