> 3 dayUsed this in the military and it is so incredibly well made. Definitely a nessesity if you have a first aid kit. I am a rock climber and the most likely injury are broken bones during a fall. This is invaluble in a ground fall situation where broken bones are likely.

> 3 dayHave used these before and are just what you need in your pack.

> 3 dayThe aluminum is too soft or thin for it to hold a finger straight, for example. Cant imagine how this would hold any larger bone or limb very immobile or maintain a position against resistance.

> 3 dayIf you sustain an injury and need some emergency splinting, you dont have too many options. The blowup air splints are nice but theyre extremely expensive and are specific for one type of injury. You can get a lower leg one, a wrist one, a full leg, and ankle,… Too many options. And, if you have an injury you really just want to immobilize it to you can get to the hospital. This one is fine. Itll accomplish relative immobilization of any limb. Long enough to help. Not so stiff as to work as a cure but it will alleviate some motion. It fits in my trauma bag. Well priced. Well packaged. Just what you need

> 3 dayThis is a must have piece of equipment for a first aid kit. You can use it to split anything. Ive uses lots of them and this is by far the best.

Greater than one weekIts very functional and can be used in a variety of configuations. I think its took bulky to be carried in a backpack unless you had room to pair in a 70L + backpack.

19-04-2025Bought min from bass pro. I had mountain biking accident. My back wheel caught a rock and it made me do a front flip over my handle bars. I ended up breaking my wrist in 4 spots and needed a metal plate and 7 screws. Luckily my buddy got this out from my bag and put it on with some medical tape added. Without it it,would have been a hard walk back.
