> 3 dayThis is wonderful!!!! I was able to easily cut it into smaller individual splints to wear on my trigger fingers at night. I used these little elastic sports finger sleeves to keep them in place. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0052IO39E/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_12 .

Greater than one weekUsed this in the military and it is so incredibly well made. Definitely a nessesity if you have a first aid kit. I am a rock climber and the most likely injury are broken bones during a fall. This is invaluble in a ground fall situation where broken bones are likely.

> 3 dayNeeded supplies for our first aid kit! Looks great, came exactly as described! Hope it will never get used, but it’s a nice peace of mind to have on hand. I watched the YouTube videos to learn to use it, those are very helpful!

> 3 dayUsing this to stock a portable First Aid Kit (small EMT bag) that can go to The Office, The Barn, soccer games, picnics-everywhere. I like knowing that if Im home or out being active, I can send someone to get the First Aid Kit-its pretty well stocked for all types of emergencies, until medical help arrives, if need be. This SAM Splint will be a great addition. I hope I never need to use this.

> 3 dayThose unfamiliar with SAM splints should know these are strips of thin aluminum coated with a plasticized material for comfort. They can be bent or cut to fit the shape of the injury. They are reusable, depending on the situation. Every medic bag should have a SAM splint. You can secure it with adhesive tape or a cravat. We carry them in the first-in bags where I work as an EMT. It is an essential piece of equipment so that in an emergency youre not fiddling around looking for something to use as a splint.

> 3 dayThe aluminum is too soft or thin for it to hold a finger straight, for example. Cant imagine how this would hold any larger bone or limb very immobile or maintain a position against resistance.
