> 3 dayIn addition to its more obvious applications, I also intend to use this as my tent pole for my bivy sack. My bivy sack is ultra light weight because ounces=pounds and pounds=pain. Its great to be able to make an arch out of this Sam Splint to keep the bag off of my face through the night.

> 3 daySure maybe you dont need one of these, but its a lot quicker and easier to apply than any makeshift splint.

> 3 dayits a little bigger in real life than it is on television LOL. Right now its sitting on a shelf but I may open it and stretch it out and fold in half longways to create a 18x4 flat pad. Rolled up, its a pretty good sized knot. I hope I never need to use this but its nice to know its there. This unbiased review was made even though the product was purchased at full price and was not given gratis or at a discount for a favorable review. Man, I WISH some of you camping/hiking/fishing/kayaking shops would send me free stuff to evaluate....

> 3 dayThankfully, I havent had to use it, but its clear that it will function as an emergency splint. Meanwhile, It only takes a few inches of space to store it, under the seat in my car, until it is needed.
