> 3 dayEMTs, first responders, and ski patrollers all know the goodness of SAM splints. They provide a fast, easy foundation for your splinting needs. The SAM splints are essentially layers of light foam bonded to flexible / malleable aluminum. I keep a range of sizes in my patrol pack. I also have a few in the workshop as the material is quite useful for the tinkerer and repairman. Note that some suppliers selling these splints advertise them as SAM but not all ship SAM... this has happened to me on a few occasions and the quality is just not there.

> 3 dayIs as it says on the tin. Indispensible for an advanced backcountry med kit. If you dont already know the many uses for these, do a quick youtube search and youll immediately see why people carry them.

> 3 dayI purchased this for my First Aid kit. Very versatile, and should I ever need it, I will be glad I bought it. There are a bunch of videos you can watch on YouTube to see the different ways that you can use the splint, and I recommend that anyone who buys this product watch the vids to be as prepared as possible.
