> 3 dayI like the idea of having something handy should the need arise; there is no doubt that there just might be circumstances when nothing satisfactory would be available to splint a break or render a limb immobile.. I believe this product to be manageable in several different scenarios which makes me feel confident for the purchase. Nothing like giving one the pucker factor when caught without necessary gear to treat serious injury.

> 3 dayIn addition to its more obvious applications, I also intend to use this as my tent pole for my bivy sack. My bivy sack is ultra light weight because ounces=pounds and pounds=pain. Its great to be able to make an arch out of this Sam Splint to keep the bag off of my face through the night.

Greater than one weekFlexible and easy to use. These should be a part of every back country first aid kit. They beat the hell out of an improvised splint when the first responder is stressed out and the patient is in pain.

Greater than one weekthis roll is far too big for a standard first aid kit, but essential in any serious kit. I got this for my trauma kit and have used them in the field (military) so I know their effectiveness. great deal for the price.
