> 3 dayNeeded supplies for our first aid kit! Looks great, came exactly as described! Hope it will never get used, but it’s a nice peace of mind to have on hand. I watched the YouTube videos to learn to use it, those are very helpful!

> 3 dayI took a wilderness first aid class designed by the BSA and Red Cross. The instructors trained us to use these. I havent taken mine out of the plastic wrap yet (thankfully), but the one we use in the class was the same. I was amazed at how sturdy something that light was.

Greater than one weekMakes a great addition to any first aid kit. Its flexible enough to store but stiff enough to do the job that it was made to do.

Greater than one weekI learned about this versatile splint in a wilderness first aide course and decided to add it to our kit that we keep on hand in our rural area and for hiking and camping trips. It is lightweight. While it does take some space in a pack, it can be stowed as a roll or flat/form fitting in available space. Basic instructions are printed on the splint itself. The company website (http://www.sammedical.com/sam_splint.html) has complete instructions and links to YouTube videos demonstrating the splints use in various situations. That said, hope I never have to use it!

> 3 dayI bought these to include in my vehicle first aid kit in the case of a wreck. The splints are 3 feet long and in my opinion, thats to long. I unrolled 1of the 2 I bought and followed the instructions on curving it to immobilize a limb. I am 5 10 and this splint was way to long even for my leg much less an arm. I suppose you can use scissors to cut it to size but I dont know how that will affect the strength of the splint. Also, the instructions clearly show the splint being secured with 1 wide straps around the broken limb, however, the splint does not contain any such straps. So you will need to buy additional straps to complete this splint package. If not, then in an emergency, youll have to resort to shoe laces, a belt of a t-shirt to secure the splint to the broken limb. In my opinion, this is a HUGE oversight. Also, even when curved per the instructions, the splint still has some give to it so you might need two of them (one on each side of the broken limb) to fully immobilize the limb. I took 1 star off for the 1 straps that should have been included and I took another star off since the splint still has some give to it even when following the instructions.
