SAMSUNG 850 EVO 500GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E500B/AM)

This is currently used in my MSI gaming laptop, and performs wonderfully. I have RAPID mode enabled, and i am getting WAY faster than the advertised 540/530 speeds, Im getting around 5k/5k speeds. Overall, highly recommended for performance and reliability. For those of you with windows 10: RAPID mode cannot be enabled with windows 10. If you want RAPID mode and windows 10, you must enable it in a different version of windows (I enabled it in windows 8.1 before upgrading).

Ive been using Samsung SSDs for some time. I consider them to be fast, reliable and well worth the money. I usually use the Pro version but have been please with the overall performance with the EVO series as well. I dont think they are quite as fast as the Pro series but you do save a little money and they are way faster than standard HDs

Easy to install, very fast. On my opinion you dont even have to go for the double priced ssd samsung offers, this is lightning fast, formats in mere seconds, amazing read write speeds. So far had no problems with it, highly recommended.

This is an incredible boost to the speed of my system. Highly recommended. I was thinking I would have to replace my laptop but with this SSD it works faster than new, with much higher user experience scores!

It works great. My windows 7 boots much faster than before, and all apps also. Only reason I put four stars is the CD attached to it. The cloning tool did not work for me. Luckily, I could find the Seagates tool for free and it worked just fine to clone my original hard drive.

have two evo 850s, one 500 GB one 250 GB, they are both amazing. Pros: Light, black and not intrusive design, can fit in any build. Cons: non that I can tell.

Purchassed several of these SSDs for all my computers. Install is easy, just follow the instructions. Data transfer may take a while depending on the speed of your computer and the amount of data being transferred. After installation computer works as before only much faster. the SSD has a slight whine to it when it runs but only the most sensitive ears will notice it.

Exactly what I needed to make my old computer current. I was having major lag on opening up files and programs. After installing, its like a new computer. Yay! Ive installed these on my 2011 imac (need a retro kit to install on the imac) and HP laptop. Perfect so far. I also have the 850 EVO 1T and the EVO840 (installed in my 2008 macbook pro which I installed 4+ years ago and works like a new computer)

I love these ssdd. Very Fast. Remember to use the samsung magician software to over provision the drive with the recommended settings before you start to regularly use it.

I used this to replace the Apple hard drive in my 2009 Macbook. The biggest difference is how quickly it shuts down without a moving disc and read-write head to park.
