> 3 dayThis drive is incredibly fast. It maxes out the SATA III bus and there is nothing faster until you move to NVME and m.2. After installing Win 10 x64, with AS SSD I saw 494 MB/s read and 478 MB/s write. I replaced an older SSD and saw a noticeable improvement. It felt like the same improvement from a HDD to that first SSD. This is the drive you want.

> 3 dayWorks wonderful. Upgraded from a 300g HDD and this transferred beautifully. The startup time is cut almost in half, and I couldnt be happier with the performance. Excellent drive.

> 3 dayjust stupid fast. can get to windows 8.1 log in screen in about 5 seconds from cold boot instead of 1min plus with spinning hard drive. it is really like a new computer.

> 3 dayThe product is excellent. I downrated it because of the pooor pooor poooooor service that Samsung provides. I spent an hour each of 2 times on hold to telephone support after which I lost patience and hung up. Do not buy Samsung products if you will need support from them. Now, on the other hand, the SSD is a good product and functions well. It is not functioning at the speed they advertise, however.

> 3 dayI have nothing but praise for Samsung SSD drives. This is my fourth purchase of a Samsung drive. I would highly recommend this drive to anyone looking for a replacement for a mechanical drive for just for additional storage on an existing system.

> 3 dayHad some installation troubles. Be prepared with a windows recovery disk to correct the boot file. Cloning software did not copy that over to SSD drive for me. For installation in desktop PC no need for USB cable. Installed drive in system, booted, cloned, used recovery disk to repair and works perfect. Make sure you have AHCI turned on in the BIOS before boot to SSD. I have notice a substantial increase in application launch speeds. Now the network is the bottle neck!!!

Greater than one weekIll never use a regular HDD as my main OS drive again. 30-second reboots with a clean OS install.

> 3 dayWorks well but you may have to initialize upon receiving. Your PC will not recognize until then.

> 3 dayFast, great for average consumer. Savings versus the 850 pro are an advantage, unless you see yourself going over the limits for this drive. Youd have to be using SSDs constantly and constantly rewriting data to need an upgrade to something like the 850 Pro.
