These replaced 4 month old WD Blue SATA SSDs that failed on me twice. Samsung EVOs have not given me any I/O errors in Linux, and have been very stable. I do not have storage heavy tasks that rely on the IOPS or anything like that, so any desktop drive should have worked for my application. Initial investment for Samsung seems more expensive than WD Blue, but the time and costs of having to deal with WD RMA process and paying for shipping makes Samsung much less costly and a lot less risky.

Its great. Fast. Got it Quickly. Worth the money.

I finally got a solid state drive after of years of putting it off, and I wish that I had done it sooner. Setup was easy with the downloadable software from Samsungs website.

Has been working great since I installed it. I bought it at a great price for a 2TB SSD too. No complaints here.

Very fast to load into PS4 Slim Console and games load super fast - perfect retrofit for old internal HDD that was toast!

I WAS USING THIS DRIVE FOR A BACKUP STORAGE DRIVE FOR MY GAMING RIG AND IT MAKE A LOUSY STORAGE SPACE FOR GAMING PLATFORMS AND CAN NOT BE USED FOR STORING GAMES AND IT SHUTTERS AND SLOWS DOWN MY REACTION TIME WHILE GAMING and had too switch it out for a seagate hard disk drive and got better results

I Installed Samsung 850 Evo SS on mi Vostro 3500. It works really very good, but the processor gets hotter and the fans work harder.

SSD failed after 6 months of average usage.

Ya es el segundo SSD Samsung que compro, excelente sin peros. EL primero un EVO 850 para una Mac Mini, después un EVO 870 para una OMEN HP, funcionan al 100%
