21-11-2024This device is a rip off. It will allow you to transfer to it, but even if you unplug it correctly, it will reformat all by itself and delete everything. Every single time. I lost go many documents and pictures of my kids when they were younger. I do not recommend this item.

The one I just purchased cut the customers boot time from 3-4 minutes to 15 seconds from the press of the power button to desktop! I highly recommend this drive and love giving my customer a 5 year warranty never had one come back for the same issue!

> 3 dayAwesome SSD, I have installed in an iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013) that was very slow but working perfect, after I have installed this SSD externally using a USB case, my iMac feels almost like a brand new Mac, I am keeping the original internal 1 TB HD just for storage, apps and operating system in the new SSD. If you have extra money to buy a bigger one, will be the best, but this one is perfect for me. It came on time!!

> 3 daySamsung had a bunch of these go out with bad firmware. Both of these failed within a year, with a ton of read errors prior. When they failed, everything was gone - partitions, data, everything. These will be the last Samsung drives I ever buy. Its just unacceptable that theyd let these out the door. The Internet is loaded with stories of these failing and Samsung just running people around in circles over warranty (as per typical for them). Sad.

> 3 dayThe package came early this evening and within 20 minutes after downloading and installing Samsung Magician s/w, my pc was open, the drive was placed in the carriage I also purchased, turned the pc back on and started the Samsung Magician. An hour later, my 1 TB mechanical Seagate hard drive was cloned to my new SSDD. After shutting down and disconnecting my Seagate drive, the PC booted significantly faster.
