Got this drive in the 2tb size to go in a high end gaming computer. The read and write rates are so fast, its perfect! Would highly recommend it.

I upgraded from a 2TB HDD to a 1TB SSD. yes, I lost some storage capacity, but not really a concern for me. This drive js lightning fast; my computer runs so much more efficiently. Startup takes 15 seconds, whereas it used to take at least minute and a half. The transfer was easy; Samsung has great migration software on their site that made this as easy as plug-and-play. It really was simple.

I like Samsung SSDs because they are really easy to copy to and install. This is the fourth Samsung SSD that I have purchased and they always revive the laptop. Highly recommend.

Had to increase my C drive available space had only 19 GB free even after deleting unwanted programs. Now I have over 700 GB free! Nice. Was easy to install - you will probably need the bracket and SATA cables - but first check what you currently have open in your case if you have not seen the inside of your PC before. Cloning the old drive to the new was easy with the Samsung Migration app (via download - samsung.com/samsungssd ) The old drive should be disconnected before booting off the new drive. Nice! There is also other Samsung software for tuning and checking the drive but not absolutely necessary.

i installed this myself in my Acer Nitro 5 when the factory HDD started giving me issues and the whole process was so simple and stress free, the Samsung migration software worked exactly as advertised and everything went perfectly without a single hitch. ive been running everything off of it for the last several months, including my own privately hosted minecraft server for the last 2months. i have no complaints.

It was easy to install and the performance is great also the price made this an outstanding value for a quality drive.
