EXTREMELY fast! Ran some read/write tests and this is about 4 times faster than my old SATA SSD. Along with the Samsung Magician software it took probably 15 minutes to migrate the drive that I ran Windows from to this. Computer boots in about 10 seconds.

This SSD has surprised me for how quick it is, I really recommend any PC user to have one at least for th operating system. You just need to check 2 things before: If your mobo has an nvme connector, if it doesnt have it you can get the converter (PCIE to NVME), and if the BIOS is compatible, if it isnt then check if you can flash it (I did).

Just replaced my 960 Evo 250GB with the 970 500GB. There are 2 types of computer users out there, those who wait on their machines to boot, load, etc... and those who use the NVMe SSDs. This is my 2nd favorite SSD behind the 970 EVO. If its your first NVMe drive, it will be your favorite as it was mine.
