So far so good! Plenty faster than a regular hard drive. Windows 10 boots almost instantly after power on. A word of warning though, these come as SATA and PCIe versions. The SATA is slower and will take the place of one of your regular SATA hard drive connections so if your motherboard allows make sure you get the PCIe version

Better than most M.2 Solid State Drives out there at a good price. This was easy to install in my Asus Crosshair Hero IV with AC WiFi on an AM4 motherboard. Just slides into the socket and secured it with my motherboards screws. It looks great inside and no need for a heatsink or a direct fan spreader since I have good airflow in case. Makes Operating Systems boot much more quickly. I am currently using this NVMe SSD as my boot partition and with my 15 start up programs, everything booted up less than a minute. That means less waiting and more time to be productive. My software / applications boot within seconds or under a minute. Therefore this has amazing performance if you have a compatible motherboard or adapter / conversion card / kit. I highly recommend this to anyone whom does gaming, video or photo production, virtual machines, virtual reality and anything that takes normally awhile to load or start up.

Installed on my MacBook Pro Retina 13 early 2015 using a sintech PCIe to M2 adapter. Increased SSD storage capacity from 128GB to 1TB for less than $300.

Im testing about 3k read and 17 write which is a vast improvement over SATA SSD. z170 platform

Upgrading from a WD black 1tb hard drive, this M.2 is a BEAST. Very fast, stays at 45c when gaming. Excellent drive for OS and a few games.

Its worked perfect so far! Lightening fast!

EXTREMELY fast! Ran some read/write tests and this is about 4 times faster than my old SATA SSD. Along with the Samsung Magician software it took probably 15 minutes to migrate the drive that I ran Windows from to this. Computer boots in about 10 seconds.

Holy &$!@ is this thing fast. Using it as a cache drive I can easily saturate my 10Gb network.
