> 3 dayBlazingly fast drive. Paired it with a Ryzen 5 1600 on a B350 motherboard and the machine flies. No issues whatsoever to install Windows on it, boot games or do any other tasks. One important thing, make sure your drive gets some ventilation, since the controller is so amazingly fast, it needs a bit of airflow in order to .stay at a good temperature. All in all, great product, will probably buy another pair to make a RAID in other system

01-04-2025My laptop only had 128gig and was getting low on space. I bought this, took the laptop back to where I bought it because I dont have the necessary equipment to clone M2s. It is a nice, fast upgrade.

> 3 dayI was pleasantly surprised by the performance of this solid state drive (SSD). My PC is about 3 years old, so it does not use the full performance of this SSD because of the motherboard specs. I installed Windows 10 fresh to this drive, and my programs to a secondary hard drive. This SSD is mainly used for the operating system, as to maintain performance. After my Windows 10 fresh install, my boot time went from a minute plus, to about 8 seconds. Since I decided to use a secondary hard disk to install programs to, performance is maintained on the SSD drive. Less fragmentation and clutter. The SSD drive ran from the very start with no issues what so ever. Windows updates now complete much faster due to the SSD technology and speed. If you are a casual user to a moderate gamer, this drive will fit your needs. If you are a power user or content creator, the PRO version from Samsung is for you, provided you have the hardware to support it to the fullest.

Greater than one weeki didnt know these things were the size of a stick of chewing gum. but, they work excellent! it gets quite warm, but on my mobo, its pretty close to the 2 front inlet fans. stress tested it for a few days now, no issues. if your m.2 slot is in a place that doesnt get much airflow, id recommend getting some stick-on heatsinks like they used to sell for gpu ram back in the day.
