> 3 dayWell, I looked and looked for my other usb stick and couldnt find it. Knew the office gremlin had taken it away and it somehow vanished. I received this unit that is blah, blah, blah great and such and when I was putting it on my USB hub I found the old one. Ahhhh.

> 3 dayYeah this was worth it. Good for Mac and PC daily use. It feels tough, has heft to it. Easy to know which side to insert as you dont have to go through the flip issue of insert, oops whoring way. Flip, doesnt go in. Flip again, now it went in. I have my programs here and work between Mac and PC. No issues with it.

Greater than one weekBefore purchasing this, I read some of the comments left by other buyers on this product, I was pretty skeptical about purchasing it but then I just went for it. And I dont know if I got luck or anything but I had no issues whatsoever with this flash drive, I am getting the advertised speed when testing it, it was brand new, it was not damaged in transportation, I mean it just works great. I definitely recommend it.

> 3 dayRuns hotter than any other storage device Id ever seen. Not natural, however its a 3.1 if that means anything. Just a warning to all of you who may care about such a thing.

> 3 day(32gb stick) Disappointing. On a USB 3.0 port, I got reads at 205 MB/s (ok), but writes were only 23 MB/s! My cheaper 16gb Sandisk 3.0 stick was 60% faster. The write speed was also very erratic, starting fast then almost stopping then going up and down, while the Sandisk was flat and steady from the getgo. On a USB 2.0 port, it was worse. 31 MB/s reads (ok) but only 12 MB/s writes, and again with the erratic up and down speed. The cheaper Sandisk was 30% faster, and steady, on writes. It’s as if Samsung went out of their way to optimize read speed (to tout) at the expense of everything else. This isn’t a CD-ROM, so most people I imagine will need to write as much as they read (like when transferring files from one computer to another), making this drive slow overall. All-metal: It looks really nice, but I don’t need a metal object with sharp points in my pocket (whose idea was that). It is also very hard to insert and remove; my whole PC moves, and I’m afraid I will eventually damage the port. I think this is a problem with all-metal flash drives; I think they have to be stronger, and therefore stiffer, since there is no protective cover, which makes for a tighter fit. I will avoid these in the future.

> 3 dayIve now purchased 5 of these Samsung flash drives, and have never had an issue with them. I have a flash drive input in my car, and Ive had issues with other brands, to where I cant access my music- even though I can see the files- but have never had that issue with these. Ive used them for music. video and for document storage with work ... always works great transferring from Mac to Mac and Mac to PC.

> 3 daySome drives gets really hot when doing large continuous file transfers. This drive metal keeps it warm to the touch when I transfer tons of files to it.

> 3 dayI own a lot of these, havent ever ran into any trouble other than occupationally some of them overheat while doing large rights to them. I dont tend to stress them after I write things to them they tend to just sit around and get read after once in a while, which means read speed is the only thing that really matters to me, and they have pretty good read speed.
