I own a lot of these, havent ever ran into any trouble other than occupationally some of them overheat while doing large rights to them. I dont tend to stress them after I write things to them they tend to just sit around and get read after once in a while, which means read speed is the only thing that really matters to me, and they have pretty good read speed.

I carry this USB drive on my key chain everywhere with me as a way to transfer files if I need to. Every time I have used it so far I have had no issues. I have reformatted and partitioned it multiple time with no issues so far. And it is extremely durable considering it is encased in metal and its sleek. It even survived being put through a washer and dryer with no problems functioning after.

I have used a few different capacities in this model flash drive and have yet to have a problem. Theyre faster than others I have used, they work reliably and they are the right size to feel good in the hand so you easily know which way they go and can insert or remove them easily. The little loop hole is great for attaching to a key chain or lanyard so you never lose your drive. These are a bit more pricey than other brands but you get what you pay for, Ive used some no-name ones and they end up breaking too soon or dont have the capacity they claim and are certainly slower than I want. Just get these good ones and youll not regret it.

Ive never had one of these drives fail, and I have a daily carry drive that Ive written over 50tb total that still works as well as the day I bought it. Metal case gives a nice feel and the sloped angle at the back makes it easy to extract, plus a hole to attach to a lanyard or key ring. My only complaint is the finish can get a bit scratched up if you keep it with keys like I do, but doesnt affect anything functional which is all I care about. They arent even that expensive, so why take a risk on cheaper ones?

it did its job and I will be using it for other things to save. I love its heavy and the look/shape of it.

I bought one 64GB and two 32GB Samsung BAR Plus USB drives. The 64GB stick came pre-formatted with exFat. The 32GB sticks came pre-formatted with Fat32. So they are ready to use immediately. Im pretty sure that if you wanted a different format (like NTSF) you could re-format them with whatever format you want (with your computer) although I havent done that. I do think they fit awfully tight into any USB 3 port I have used them in. Snug is good but I think this is overkill and it might even damage something in some cases. Thats the only complaint I have about them. On the Easy to use rating I only gave 3 stars because of this. Otherwise they seem really good. I like them overall.

Redefine everyday file transfers with speeds up to 200MB/s dd if=/home/admin/archlinux-2019.09.01-x86_64.iso of=/dev/sdc status=progress 449888768 bytes (450 MB, 429 MiB) copied, 1 s, 450 MB/s 1275904+0 records in 1275904+0 records out 653262848 bytes (653 MB, 623 MiB) copied, 25.7224 s, 25.4 MB/s Copying a raw binary stream at 25.4 MB/s on USB 3.0 with advertising claims of 200MB/s -- whats that for text files? -1 Star because it was unnecessary they make that their first advertising point, I never expected it to do that speed but it clearly doesnt.

So Ive had a metal kingston 16gb for a while. It was 2.0 and I realized now that all my usb ports are 3.1 I should upgrade not only the size but speed. While I might not be achieving 200mb/sec like it claims, I did see about 170mb/sec which is screaming fast compared to what Im used to. I do like that the keyring area is a bit thicker and feels beefy.
