14-06-2025I bought one 64GB and two 32GB Samsung BAR Plus USB drives. The 64GB stick came pre-formatted with exFat. The 32GB sticks came pre-formatted with Fat32. So they are ready to use immediately. Im pretty sure that if you wanted a different format (like NTSF) you could re-format them with whatever format you want (with your computer) although I havent done that. I do think they fit awfully tight into any USB 3 port I have used them in. Snug is good but I think this is overkill and it might even damage something in some cases. Thats the only complaint I have about them. On the Easy to use rating I only gave 3 stars because of this. Otherwise they seem really good. I like them overall.

Greater than one weekGreat quality product. Ive only had 1 fail on me over the years but I will most likely lose a flash drive before it fails. The advertised speed is almost always the READ speed, the write speed on these is around 35MB/s. P.S. Dont buy no-name brands promising 256GB for $10, theyre fake.

> 3 dayBefore purchasing this, I read some of the comments left by other buyers on this product, I was pretty skeptical about purchasing it but then I just went for it. And I dont know if I got luck or anything but I had no issues whatsoever with this flash drive, I am getting the advertised speed when testing it, it was brand new, it was not damaged in transportation, I mean it just works great. I definitely recommend it.

11-06-2025This is such a great deal, I highly recommend these. They are made of metal and are very small. Great for putting on a key-chain. The price is great, especially considering the really high build quality. I installed Linux on one, and I got another one Im going to put on my key-chain. Be sure to do backups in case you lose it. (Note: some backups dont copy the creation date. I use the free RoboMirror with delete extra files and folders checked and custom switches with this added to the end of the switched /copy:DAT /dcopy:DAT so now the switches say /z /e /fft /r:12 /w:5 /tbd /np /copy:DAT /dcopy:DAT this makes an exact duplicate of the flash drive on a folder in your computer. So if you lose the flash drive your not screwed.)

> 3 dayIve now purchased 5 of these Samsung flash drives, and have never had an issue with them. I have a flash drive input in my car, and Ive had issues with other brands, to where I cant access my music- even though I can see the files- but have never had that issue with these. Ive used them for music. video and for document storage with work ... always works great transferring from Mac to Mac and Mac to PC.

> 3 dayRuns hotter than any other storage device Id ever seen. Not natural, however its a 3.1 if that means anything. Just a warning to all of you who may care about such a thing.

> 3 dayI carry this USB drive on my key chain everywhere with me as a way to transfer files if I need to. Every time I have used it so far I have had no issues. I have reformatted and partitioned it multiple time with no issues so far. And it is extremely durable considering it is encased in metal and its sleek. It even survived being put through a washer and dryer with no problems functioning after.

> 3 dayRead speed is amazing, but, I bought this for write speed and as a replacement for Lexar its not that great. I have compared some of my storage speeds.
