> 3 dayIm using a MacBook Pro on OS 10.12 Got the drive for $9 on Amazon. Write speeds when copying large (1GB+) files over is averaging right around 24 MB/s Read Speeds are about 175MB to 180MB/sec Didnt test with small files, but typically those speeds are worse. Given that its only 9 bucks, pretty good performance. Not thrilled with the slow write speeds, since that primary use case. (Store something quickly and go. )

> 3 dayThis is a perfect flash drive to use on a PS4 for light file sharing. I purchased the 32 GB flash drive. It is very portable & can fit into tight areas such as a PS4 Slim USB port. I recommend this to any PS4 content creators looking to grab files off there PS4 like videos or for listening to music. Only flaw is it gets hot when in use. Use in moderation to be safe. Do not use for PS4 storage. You need something way more powerful.

> 3 dayI have used a few different capacities in this model flash drive and have yet to have a problem. Theyre faster than others I have used, they work reliably and they are the right size to feel good in the hand so you easily know which way they go and can insert or remove them easily. The little loop hole is great for attaching to a key chain or lanyard so you never lose your drive. These are a bit more pricey than other brands but you get what you pay for, Ive used some no-name ones and they end up breaking too soon or dont have the capacity they claim and are certainly slower than I want. Just get these good ones and youll not regret it.

> 3 dayI just counted up and I have 11 of these. They are fast, nearly indestructible, and perfect for OS installs, live drives, and sneaker net. You can actually do a LOT with 32GB. The price is spectacular.

> 3 day(32gb stick) Disappointing. On a USB 3.0 port, I got reads at 205 MB/s (ok), but writes were only 23 MB/s! My cheaper 16gb Sandisk 3.0 stick was 60% faster. The write speed was also very erratic, starting fast then almost stopping then going up and down, while the Sandisk was flat and steady from the getgo. On a USB 2.0 port, it was worse. 31 MB/s reads (ok) but only 12 MB/s writes, and again with the erratic up and down speed. The cheaper Sandisk was 30% faster, and steady, on writes. It’s as if Samsung went out of their way to optimize read speed (to tout) at the expense of everything else. This isn’t a CD-ROM, so most people I imagine will need to write as much as they read (like when transferring files from one computer to another), making this drive slow overall. All-metal: It looks really nice, but I don’t need a metal object with sharp points in my pocket (whose idea was that). It is also very hard to insert and remove; my whole PC moves, and I’m afraid I will eventually damage the port. I think this is a problem with all-metal flash drives; I think they have to be stronger, and therefore stiffer, since there is no protective cover, which makes for a tighter fit. I will avoid these in the future.

> 3 dayFast read/write speeds, looks sleek, good build quality. Even ran it through a washer/dryer accidentally and it still works.

> 3 dayI backup often and this is probably twice as fast as my older flash drives. Instead of deleting the data I want to overwrite, I format the flash drive each time, then copy, this method is much better than deleing whats on the drive than copying the data.

> 3 dayI bought 2 of these at the same time, so they should be identical. This is my review of the other one: Right after I got this, I left it in a jeans pocket when I threw it in the wash. I wash jeans in steaming hot water with a 20 minute soak and then dry on high for at least an hour. Pretty extreme abuse for any electronic item. Found the drive at the bottom of the dryer, so I figured Id put it in my laptop and format it to see if it still worked. I figured formatting it would expose any problems with it. Formatted fine with no drama. I have been using it for a month since then with zero problems!! People are complaining about write speeds. Not a big concern for me since Im just loading photos or Word and Excel files, so I havent even noticed that, BUT, I can guarantee you this drive will take the abuse! Since its much more important to me that files are still on the drive even if I drop it or dunk it or whatever, Im extremely satisfied with it. Its also designed to be much easier to insert and remove than flat drives. Ive always had good luck with Samsungs TVs and appliances, but their phones are junk. I figured Id buy a brand name drive from a company I was familiar with. Obviously, that was a wise decision. Im not prone to hyperbole, nor do I usually take the time to write reviews, but this drive has blown me away. Its definitely the bees knees and I rate this drive a definite BUY.
