The drive is not 32 GB. Even when removing the partition table, the physical drive will be 29.88 GB. The USB drive will come pre-formatted in a 32-bit file system for easy (quick) use out of the package, which is convenient. As expected with any storage drive, once formated, a small portion will be used for the file system table (14.97 MB, for example, for fat-32). That is perfectly normal and will vary depending on what partition format you use and how many partitions you create. What is not normal and should not be accepted is the fact that your physical drive is not as advertised. The raw layout of the drive should be 32 GB, and instead, it is 29.88, missing 2.12 GB

I previously had a bad batch that failed three times, however some time later I decided to take some chances and order some more, and I have not been disappointed. Ive had two for nearly a year and they havent failed me yet, despite installing countless OSes from them. Theyre fast, too, but they do get a bit warm.

I bought one 64GB and two 32GB Samsung BAR Plus USB drives. The 64GB stick came pre-formatted with exFat. The 32GB sticks came pre-formatted with Fat32. So they are ready to use immediately. Im pretty sure that if you wanted a different format (like NTSF) you could re-format them with whatever format you want (with your computer) although I havent done that. I do think they fit awfully tight into any USB 3 port I have used them in. Snug is good but I think this is overkill and it might even damage something in some cases. Thats the only complaint I have about them. On the Easy to use rating I only gave 3 stars because of this. Otherwise they seem really good. I like them overall.

Before purchasing this, I read some of the comments left by other buyers on this product, I was pretty skeptical about purchasing it but then I just went for it. And I dont know if I got luck or anything but I had no issues whatsoever with this flash drive, I am getting the advertised speed when testing it, it was brand new, it was not damaged in transportation, I mean it just works great. I definitely recommend it.

Works well and FAST! Not like some big brands lately that their USB flash simply does not work (SLOWWW). I constantly use many on IT world and I only buy well-known brands, however many are very slow despite their product description. I dont have time to test and return and need it working right away fast. If it doesnt work it goes to the bin. This one works and I will stick to it until any issues. Thank you

I bought 2 of these at the same time, so they should be identical. This is my review of the other one: Right after I got this, I left it in a jeans pocket when I threw it in the wash. I wash jeans in steaming hot water with a 20 minute soak and then dry on high for at least an hour. Pretty extreme abuse for any electronic item. Found the drive at the bottom of the dryer, so I figured Id put it in my laptop and format it to see if it still worked. I figured formatting it would expose any problems with it. Formatted fine with no drama. I have been using it for a month since then with zero problems!! People are complaining about write speeds. Not a big concern for me since Im just loading photos or Word and Excel files, so I havent even noticed that, BUT, I can guarantee you this drive will take the abuse! Since its much more important to me that files are still on the drive even if I drop it or dunk it or whatever, Im extremely satisfied with it. Its also designed to be much easier to insert and remove than flat drives. Ive always had good luck with Samsungs TVs and appliances, but their phones are junk. I figured Id buy a brand name drive from a company I was familiar with. Obviously, that was a wise decision. Im not prone to hyperbole, nor do I usually take the time to write reviews, but this drive has blown me away. Its definitely the bees knees and I rate this drive a definite BUY.

The thumb drive is small and compact. easy to use.

Great quality product. Ive only had 1 fail on me over the years but I will most likely lose a flash drive before it fails. The advertised speed is almost always the READ speed, the write speed on these is around 35MB/s. P.S. Dont buy no-name brands promising 256GB for $10, theyre fake.

I use this in an over the air tv recorder. The drive I was using would drop the signal now and then. This drive does not and works great!
