Greater than one weekI bought 2 of these at the same time, so they should be identical. This is my review of the other one: Right after I got this, I left it in a jeans pocket when I threw it in the wash. I wash jeans in steaming hot water with a 20 minute soak and then dry on high for at least an hour. Pretty extreme abuse for any electronic item. Found the drive at the bottom of the dryer, so I figured Id put it in my laptop and format it to see if it still worked. I figured formatting it would expose any problems with it. Formatted fine with no drama. I have been using it for a month since then with zero problems!! People are complaining about write speeds. Not a big concern for me since Im just loading photos or Word and Excel files, so I havent even noticed that, BUT, I can guarantee you this drive will take the abuse! Since its much more important to me that files are still on the drive even if I drop it or dunk it or whatever, Im extremely satisfied with it. Its also designed to be much easier to insert and remove than flat drives. Ive always had good luck with Samsungs TVs and appliances, but their phones are junk. I figured Id buy a brand name drive from a company I was familiar with. Obviously, that was a wise decision. Im not prone to hyperbole, nor do I usually take the time to write reviews, but this drive has blown me away. Its definitely the bees knees and I rate this drive a definite BUY.

> 3 dayI backup often and this is probably twice as fast as my older flash drives. Instead of deleting the data I want to overwrite, I format the flash drive each time, then copy, this method is much better than deleing whats on the drive than copying the data.

> 3 dayPros: * Durable metal casing, sealed; should be water-proof * Small footprint * Fast read speed; quick write speed (USB 3.1) * Has hole to put on keyring Cons: * Very slippery surface; it keeps squirting out of my hand * Very tight Socket; youll have to really work to get it in and out of USB ports * No cover; one has to be mindful of debris contaminating the socket. I knocked off a star for the tight socket issue; it has been very frustrating.

> 3 dayThis USB is GREAT! Its very sleek and clean, has a metallic feeling, can hold a decent amount of data too. I use this mainly for my classes and keep it on my keychain. I never forget it as it fits really well on it, furthermore has seen rain and it still works like a charm. Only gripe is that if it stays in a computer for too long it can get a bit warm(not too hot). Otherwise, a very solid and good USB to use for anything. Read and Write speeds are very fast too

> 3 dayI use my USB keys primarily for coping large files, so what matters to me is the actual verified Single thread performance such as if you are coping a very large .ISO or .MP4 file over. I use the H2testw utility as that writes & verifies a single thread as fast as it can go and doesnt allow for compression or other cheating. I did the full 32GB Capacity of the key This is very important as many reviewers only do benchmarks for a fraction of that and speeds vary (usually downwards) on a short burst at the beginning compared to sustained file copy. This one came in at 24.2 MBytes / Second write speed and 184 MBytes / Second Read speed.

> 3 dayUsed it for a windows 10 install, my girl accidentally threw it in the washer machine as it was in my shorts pockets. It survived and I was able to use it to complete the installation. Durable product and also was pretty fast, dont know what the other nerds are talking about.

> 3 dayUSB flash drives 3.0 or 3.1 are night and day compared to the original USB or USB 2.0 drives. I recently transferred nearly 200 gigs of data, files, movies, music, and pics from an old computer to a new one. It was effortless with this new USB 3.1 and took a relative few minutes compared to the hours the original USB drives would have taken. Ive ordered three more.

> 3 dayI had no idea USBs had speeds associated with them and Im not a 100% sure what that still means but this USB flash drive is amazing! Its so compact, beautifully made, and at such an affordable price. I would highly recommend getting this. Only downside might be that it is really small so you might lose it, but put a keychain and youll be fine!

> 3 dayRuns hotter than any other storage device Id ever seen. Not natural, however its a 3.1 if that means anything. Just a warning to all of you who may care about such a thing.

Greater than one weekPros : Transfer speeds are very high (reached upto 60 MBps) Fits perfectly and has a nice metal finish Used hundres of times and never gave problems Cons : Due to the metal casing, it can feel warm/hot to touch depending on the PC its plugged into. This might be uncomfortables sometimes.
