    Excellent. I bought two of these and installed them in an older 15” MacBook Pro (one in the DVD space, with an adapter). The computer literally SCREAMS now! It feels almost as fast as my new MacBook Pro. Such a huge improvement!

    This is a great upgrade. I was skeptical about how fast my Asus laptop would respond with this drive, but it is amazing. If you have a mechanical hard drive i cant recommend this enough. Use the Samsung migrate tool on their web site. It does take a couple of hours, but its worth it.

    I have had this 4TB drive for 4 months now and I am super happy with it... I do lots of video editing for my YouTube channels (DAHCKRAM Studios, GetFITby50 and XMSMLL) and it is plenty fast (way faster than mechanical HDD) for anything I do in Adobe Premiere or After Effects... I use it as a data drive only (OS drive is 512GB Samsung SSD) and do not regret my purchase one bit. I highly recommend Samsung SSD drives over other brands....

    I had originally written a lengthy review criticizing this drive (the Samsung Evo 860 500GB) because I received the AS2115 USB device problem when I attached it via SATA-to-USB drive. If you receive this error, it is because you are using an incompatible hard drive enclosure or SATA-to-USB cable.
