Samsung makes the best SSDs. Laptop is ridiculous fast now. I use these in my desktop and both laptops. Zero issues. Make sure you use the Samsung Magician software to clone your old one or if its a second drive use Windows Disk Management to format it. Super fast

Replacing the mechanical hard drive in my late 2009 iMac with this SSD was long overdue. I was on the verge of buying a new/newer iMac but now im sure I can get a few more years of use out of this one. This was the first mod ive ever done to it and has made a huge difference so far.

1) Get an SSD and 2) get a good branded one.

I cant say nothing bad about this 860 Evo. Easy to transfer, has great application interface to transfer the OS, set the proper trim, and increase performance values across the table. My personal laptop now only takes 7 seconds to fire up to the desktop. I dont even have time to throw in a password. It is crazy fast. I have tried other SSDs and they dont even come close to the proficiency of the Samsung 850/860 Evo SSDs. I have tried ADATA, Crucial, Silicon Power (SP), Kingston SSD, and OCZ. None of them come close to the power and efficiency of Samsung. Im sold true and blue.

Bought this for an upgrade to my PS4 Pro. Does the job and more. Cuts the upload and download time significantly.

The $150 spent on this purchase gave me the performance improvement of spending much more on a new computer. What a great way to start the new year!
