> 3 dayI’ve been using these to upgrade office pc’s, they smoke the Sata drives & they impress the end users with boot up speed. Setup is easy, just download cloning software from Samsung & follow instructions, couldn’t be easier.

> 3 dayI finally became wise to the fact of changing my HD to this SDD on my old Macbook Pro 13-inch mid-2012. It is not an exaggeration that the change made this old laptop new life. I remember when the advantage of a Mac was it’s amazingly quick startup. I have been disappointed how startup on Macs have slowed down over the years. With this SDD and 16MB RAM, this Macbook now starts as fast as I remembered. Before maybe 3-5 minutes, now 1 minute.

> 3 dayEXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Over the past few years Ive purchased three Samsung SSDs, and have been totally satisfied; I dont game or do other uber-heavy disk I/O. My first Samsung 256GB SSD came with a USB 3.0 to 2.5” SATA III cable and a CD for Samsung Magician, the last two SSDs (500GB and 1TB) have not provided a cable or Samsung Magician & Migration software CD; no CD is not a big deal, these can be downloaded from Samsung and you always get the latest version. The SATA-USB cable is VERY handy when doing a clean installation. See below...

> 3 dayI bought it for a Dell Inspiron laptop which came with a hard disk drive (HDD) and was running quite slowly. This Samsumg ASD was good fit and quite easy to install. It was been running without issue for two months now, and was worth the investment.

> 3 dayThe price for these SSD hard drives have come down significantly over the last couple of years. As a result, it is now affordable and worth every dollar to replace the old 5400RPM Hard drives in our 2011/12 Macbook Pros that my kids have been using. The whole process (outside of cloning the drive) takes less than 15 minutes to complete if you follow the instructions. There are only nine phillips head screws on the bottom panel of the laptop that need to be removed, a couple more that hold the drive in place and then the four torx posts that are on the drive.

> 3 dayI have the 860 EVO 1tb and its great plug and play. So much faster than hdd. This is my first ssd and its a good one. Just watch out I think the tbw changes with storage capacity. The reason some are more expensive is because of the longevity measured in tbw. This is middle of the road in terms of longevity and its more than Ill probably ever use.
