Greater than one weekI upgraded my Macbook Pro Mid 2012 with this baddie. It gets the job done well! If youre looking to run multiple programs like Lightroom and Photoshop this gem will do really well. I totally recommend. My laptops start up time is about 16 to 17 seconds now. And opening applications is lighting fast.

> 3 dayI swapped out a 1TB drive for this 2TB drive... Samsungs data migration software (a free download) for this is awesome... works like a charm. Just attach the new drive with a SATA USB adapter, the software recognizes it and will make a perfect image of your old drive on the new one.

> 3 dayWhat you would expect from a quality brand like Samsung. Well constructed SSD with simple packaging. Used to replace my HDD in an older laptop, fit right in. Advertised read/write speeds were accurate (which is usually not the case with many of these SSD brands).

Greater than one weekI have not found anything to dislike about this product. Installation was a snap. Hardest thing was getting to the hard drive in my laptop. But thats a manufacturers issue of the laptop, not the SSD drive. But with the help of Google it simplified the issue. The speed of Win 10 startup so so fast, I thought I was back using 7 again ! Are here less expensive SSD drives out there...sure, but why mess with success? This is my 3rd Samsung SSD drive. Now all my computers have SSD drives in them.

06-04-2025This drive made my four year old laptop perform like never before. Boot time went from almost two minutes to less than 20 seconds!! Only downside is the software and cable needed to image the old drive to the new drive. Do your research.
