> 24 hourHaving lost data like most people due to failed external hard drives, I decided to go to a solid state hard drive that is more robust. This product is not cheap. But, when you consider that for $350 you are able to keep from replacing 5 x $100 failed drives, it makes sense economically. But, another main factor in my decision was the read/write speed that is about 10X faster than my previous drives. Solid state has no read arm trying to find info on a spinning disk. No moving parts! Worth every penny!

> 24 hourThis external SSD is great. It’s small, portable, and is fast downloading at a great price. I filled all the internal SSD ports and had no more room for more unless I wanted a hard drive but SSD are so much faster and smaller so I decided to get an external SSD. I have a gaming computer that has windows 10 Os and it was plug and play for me didn’t have to partition it like I did with my other so that’s a major thumbs up and is good for people who aren’t very computer savvy. Would 100% recommend to everyone and I’ve never have been disappointed with a Samsung product.

> 24 hourI bought a 1TB T5 recently to supplement a 500GB T5 Ive owned for 2 years. I love the speed. SSD storage accessed through a USB 3 connection is *so* much faster than lower technology. I use them for image storage, and its like having the files on local SSD. The T5s compact dimensions are great. I tuck it in a small pocket in my computer bag so it goes everywhere my computer goes. And its rugged enough that my frequent travel doesnt faze it.

> 24 hourI’ve only had this for about six months, so I can’t really talk about the longevity of it, but since it’s SSD I’m assuming it will be good. It loads fast, and it’s easy to use.

> 24 hourUse for backing up data, great little ssd drive. When are the 4 TB capacities coming out? You guys milked the 2TB capacities long enough, give the people what they need!

> 24 hourI bought this to store large quantity of photos. I was using a Seagate 5TB external drive previously that was abysmally slow (benchmark around 60MB/s write and read). Im constantly having to wait for my photos to load while processing and viewing them. This SSD drive Is 7x faster (benchmark 420MB/s write and read). My workflow is so much smoother when I have new photos to process. Definitely worth the money. Also, this thing is tiny!
