There were no directions on how to use the device nor when it can be removed from the iMac.

Great storage capacity, extremely light weight, and fast data transfer speeds. I used this SSD to backup my SD cards from my camera on a long international trip. I carry a lightweight laptop with me that gas minimal storage. I used to use a lightweight hard drive which crashed after being bounced around on a few trips. The SSD should be less prone to damage with travel, I expect.

Very pleased. I read the dimensions, but when its in your hands you realize how small it is. Its smaller than my palm. Lots of storage space and fast copy speed.

Kinda stinks knowing how much I paid for the 1TB version of this, and how in a year or two the cost of such a thing will probably be half of what I paid for it, but at least this little thing is a pleasure to use in the meantime. It comes with two USB cables, one standard USB to USB-C, and the other is just USB-C to USB-C - so no matter what type of connections you have, youre covered. The cables even come with velcro straps attached. I work in IT and I keep this thing with me everywhere I go, and its always loaded up with a few useful tools. Its incredibly small, doesnt weigh much, but still feels durable in the metal housing. Great product.
