It is plug and play. I dont have any trouble getting Windows 7 or Windows 10 to recognize it. I most commonly use it on Dell and Asus laptops. Have had no problems with corrupted data. Data transfer is quick and flawless.

Nice product! Bought it at a huge discount. The speed was as fast as advertised, as well as the storage. It is light-weight enough to get carried around without noticing it, and it is also very convenient with the universal type-c port. The body is made of Aluminum, which can reduce the thermal stress. Overall, there is nothing too much to complain about it.

I have a T3 and it was the best. This T5 is now the best and best value for 1TB SSD around. Sooo tiny, so fast and most importantly, it just works.
