I read the reviews of the T7 for its over heating and mounting issues when it gets hot. I was bummed to hear that because I really wanted the 1k read and write since I needed to move my VST’s, sound kits, visualizers, and other plug-in’s to free up space on my computer’s SSD hard drive.

Smaller, lighter and and faster than expected. if you plan on buying one to move around often you may want to spend the $10 and purchase a sleeve or silicone case. this is very light and small. currently using it on my xbox one x as the primary drive for games as it is significantly faster then the internal drive. i hoped it would increase load speeds by 10-15% as it’s over usb but on games like skyrim with mods that load very slow i would say no less than 25% faster and at times much faster.

Samsung T5 2TB review. Super fast drive, pocketable small and easy for on the go use. No issues so far. I got this drive on Amazon PRIME Day for a great price and have no regrets! I have 2 of these drives for both PC and Mac and both work well. If you need super fast storage that is small pocketable on the go for PC or Mac, I highly recommend getting it!

Product failed after 8 months of use. I thought an SSD would last.

Ive had mine since May 30 and it has performed flawlessly. I did not download the software; using it strictly as another thumb drive. I backup new modified files daily with Windows 10. Would recommend product to anyone seeking additional storage and backup protection.

Awesome hard drive. Im using it to boot up my iMac that cam with a 5400 hard drive. The speed boost is phenomenal. Great value for what you get.
