I use this as a working external hard drive to run Logic and store all of my music production tasks on a new Mac M1 Mini that I purchased with a small hard drive. Its not as fast as the internal M1 processor but almost as fast as my previous Mac Mini. I would have given 5 stars but the install was not as smooth as it should have been. The Samsung app still says that the drive is not connected.

Hands down the best external SSD on the market!!! The speed, size, build quality is incredible!!!

Perfectly small and light. No issues thus far. I keep a backup just in case as all storage can fail but it’s been fast and reliable thus far. I would buy it again! One request would be a method to daisy chain drives.

Perfect expansion for my PC that came with only a 256GB SSD and no slot for a 2nd drive. Fast transfer rate where I can store and easily access all my photos, iTunes library and movies. The portability allows me to bring everything with me wherever I go

I was thinking of building my own portable SSD by using NVM.e or a 2.5 SSD and put in enclosure, but I dont think it will look as nice as this. Speed seems fast as I normally just use this to transfer files less than 4GB.
