Love how fast this is. My average transfer between it and my PC is around 350mbs compared to the unpredictable variations of other storage devices. Sometimes in single digits. But the Samsung just blows them out of the water.

Im using this as a bootable clone drive for a Mac. Because its a solid state drive, its better to use APFS formatting. which will result in faster boot times and read speeds. But the option to use this isnt obvious in Disk Utility. To format a new T5 to APFS, you need to click on view, select show all devices and then select the lowed level (the disk itself, not the volume) and select erase. Select GUID in the bottom pull down menu box, which will then add APFS to the format options pulldown menu above.

It is very fast to backup my computer by using this mobile disk. Highly recommended.

Works perfectly on my PS5 to store and play PS4 games, you can store PS5 games but cannot play them on external hard drives.
