> 3 dayI have three of this connected to my iMac pro in my music studio (storing orchestral samples). Ive had two for over a year and just bought this third recently as my library expanded. Zero troubles with any of them, work right out of the box and formatting is straightforward. Pretty low price for an terabyte SSD.

> 3 dayThe storage is great, however, I get notifications from the software popping up every couple of hours even though there is nothing to install. I was able, after contacting Samsung tech support get the initial software update installed but they were not able to tell me how to stop the pop-ups which are annoying but not harmful.

> 3 dayHavent had for a long time, but as a travelling musician I wanted something to transfer sound files to and from my keyboard/computer. So this is it :) Not sure of durability over time, although you can purchase a third party travel case custom to the ssd box so thats not really an excuse. Very fast transfer speeds when copying files to and from, and would recommend this. I purchased the item on sale, because the cost is still pretty steep. But it is worth it.

12-06-2025I spent some time researching on expandable memory and cake to find out that SSD is the way to go. It’s sleek, compact, and very, very fast. I moved destiny 2 and all it’s content over to the SSD in about 7 minutes with no problem. Loading screens are no where near as slow as they used to be. I have not tried it out on other games that I have but I’ll tell you, this thing is great!

> 3 dayFirst test was looking bad slow, but I always recheck, and second test the drive was as fast as the sabrent rocket nano, and runs cooler. The larger surface area of the case likely makes better cooling. I dont know why my first crystaldisk mark showed the drive as very slow, as well as copying a 120gb image file. Second test after ejecting and plugging it back in was much better, but the 1 slow test prevents me from giving the drive 5* rating.

> 3 dayThis unit is small and very quick. Used with a desktop system, so its not used as a portable drive but its size would make it good to have in a laptop bag.
