Amazing product. Small, portable, and good write speed. It also has an app to lock it (set a password to access the ssd)

The storage capacity is fine and it is very lightweight and small. But even after using the cable provided, along with making sure to use the correct up-to-date USB slot, I never get the advertised transfer speeds. The max I go is like, 30mb/s. Maybe mine is broken or something - it works and gets the job done, but still disappointed in how slow it is.

Worked for a few months and then one day just no longer did. Absolute waste of money.

This is the third Samsung SSD I have purchased. I’m comfortable with them. No problems with my iMac.

This little jewel is used to back up my computer each day. SSD and capacity were what I needed and this delivered in a very pleasing way. Since it is just used for backups and recovery -- the speed hasnt really come up at all. The size, simplicity and installation were as simple as could be. Exactly as I wished it to be.

Purchased this hard drive based on some other positive reviews, despite all the poor reviews on transfer speed and overheating. My new Mac is 2020 w/ Big Sur. This SSD wont install and work with Big Sur; at least not without tech support from Samsung. I contacted tech support and was told to try a couple of fixes I had already tried. The tech support agent (via chat because phones were not staffed) was passive-aggressive and super difficult to work with. I was eventually given a ticket number and waited several days; after not hearing from anyone, I just returned the drive.
