My drive does not work with my xbox one to store games just media files. When I called SanDisk support today. I was told this only works with Windows or Mac machines? That is crazy my cheap standard drive works fine with my xbox. Really sad that this is the case.

This drive is super fast, and tiny. Needs nothing other than a cable. Ruggedized case, too!

Already started a return. Max speed is between 35 and 40 MB/sec. Tried on several different ports with different cords, could never get above that. Absolute FRAUD. Im starting to get sick of the number of returns Im having to do with Amazon. Its ridiculous.

I purchased the 500gb Extreme Pro for use with my Xbox One X. The Xbox refused to let me use the drive for game storage and the only error I could find was This device is too slow (0x80bd003b). After spending over 2 hours trying to troubleshoot, format the drive, troubleshoot some more, reformat, etc... I finally benchmarked the drive only to discover that the sequential read/write speeds were around 40mbs when connected to a USB 3.0 port on a Macbook Pro. I decided to try another 3.0 cable for the heck of it and, go figure, the same benchmark test speeds increased to around 300mbs and it now magically works just fine with the Xbox. The culprit is clearly the USB-C to USB-A cable that was included with the drive. The USB-A connector is blue, implying that the cable is at least 3.0 compatible, though I do not see that actually stated anywhere in the product listing. If it is supposed to be a 3.0 cable, the QC here is absolute crap. If the cable is not supposed to be 3.0, considering the connector color and the fact that the product listing does not state that any additional equipment is required in order to achieve USB 3.0 speeds (reasonably implying out of the box compatibility), this product listing is dangerously bordering on fraud.
