I bought this in an act of faith that this would work for the replacement of the small 65 Gb that came with the Tesla. It works like a treat. Highly recommend.

Pleased with the heavy duty-seeming dongle cord, which is especially helpful with laptops where it gets torqued around during use pretty good. The drive itself runs a little warm. R/W is nice and fast, and it helps a lot to run our media files from there to speed up our Adobe Premiere and After Effects projects by quite a bit.

Review for Sandisk Extreme Pro Portable SSD 500GB E80:

1st one I thought was a brick, its some issue with the driver that it comes with, but doesnt require one. Asus laptop, windows 10, will not recognize this external ssd. Tried rolling back driver, updating drivers, downloading WD drivers, scanner tools, causes computer to hang up in device manager. Not sure how you screw up software for something thats old tech. It has something to do with WD SCSI Enclosure Device which I think has something to do with its password / encryption ability. so useless, make it work first.

When I received the SSD, something was wrong with it. The usb port had scratches and the SSD did not work properly so I returned it and decided to get it directly from Western Digital. Now, I have the 2TB version and I am more than happy.
