Great portable SSD. Runs as fast as described.

First such SSD was faulty on arrival but not greatly so, was much faultier the next day.

I use this with my iPad Pro 11 and it is amazing. I am able to edit large video files for long periods of time without eating up my on-board storage. It does heat up quickly when in use but only to a point then it maintains its that same temp for at least a couple of hours. That is the longest I have used this continuously. If you do run into any problems (not that you will) you are better off researching it and figuring it out on your own though. Their customer support is absolutely useless. Don’t let the complimentary flashback offer influence you either. It is a gimmick to try and get more money from you that doesn’t work anyway. Get the device, just skip the customer service and Flashback offer. This is just a very capable piece of hardware for you to use with no real support. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars.

With the advent of SSD drives, storage capacity is small so the Sandisk portable drives are a welcomed addition to anyone that wants to stores photos and videos and not fill up your main drive. I love it!

I use sanDisk for all my photography and video. I edit right off this so there is no storage space being eaten up on my iMac. The speed is fast enough for editing right from this. I have one for editing video, one for editing audio for Logic Pro and one to run backups on. These are great drives....pricey but worth it. They are small, perfect size.

Use this as a photo dump and its capacity is great.

Love the speed of this hard drive. Very quick to read and write as well as edit video directly from. The metal features makes it fee higher quality as well.
